Do you feel one baby kick lot more than the other?

Does anyone else mostly just feel one baby kick? I hardly ever feel baby B kick or move. Baby A will get really active and sometimes hiccup. I've never really had baby B be that way. If he was active, it was for a short time. I guess it could just be the way he's positioned, but I would think at about 24 weeks along, I would feel him more anyway.

Thank goodness I have a doppler, both heartbeats sounded great. Should I still be worried that something could be wrong with baby B, even though the heartbeat sounds great? My next U/S isn't clear until May 2nd. My last appointment was April 2nd I believe. I wish they wouldn't wait so long between appointments! A lot happens in that amount of time with a twin pregnancy. I know after this I'll make sure it's every two weeks!

So does anyone else experience this with their twin pregnancy?

I actually feel baby B a whole lot more than baby A. My doctor says it is fine and they have both been doing wonderful. I am currently at 36 weeks and 4 days today. If you are worried though you can always bump up your appointment, as a patient that is your right to be seen. It will give you peace of mind and maybe lead into a discussion with your ob about the frequency of your visits. Hope this helped :)

I hardly ever felt A and felt B all the time. It has to do with positioning. OFten the one baby will be kicking the other so you ar ecushioned form the movement and don't feel it. That is one thing that is different than a singleton where you feel everything.

plus my baby A is very calm and my B is a wild man, just like on the inside.

Yes, I felt baby A more than B. But later found out the B's placenta was in front so that is why I couldn't feel him kick as much.

Yes, baby A, the boy, feels much more active than the girl. Spoke with the doctor and was told that sometimes this is due to the position of the placenta. As a matter of fact, I had an ultra sound while in the doctors office and saw baby B moving but could not feel any of her movements.

Hi, relax. I was so worried when the same thing happened to me. I always felt baby B and I didn't feel baby A until night time when she would get the hiccups. Now they are 9 months old and Baby B has so much energy he bounces off of the walls and baby A is so laid back and relaxes all of the time. Remember they do not have as much room to move since you have two. You are completely normal. ;)

I have the same thing happening to me. I feel baby A all the time. I am happy about that since she is the one with the growth problems. Baby B is much more laid back. He did get active last Friday during the ultra sound though!

The doctor said that is totally normal!

I always thought I would feel baby A more and then I would go in for an u/s and they would change places on me, so I was feeling baby B. It never evened out for me. And now that they are born my baby A is definitely my more active child. Weird?

I hardly ever felt B, Annika. I worried about it too. Now I just laugh because it obviously had nothing to do with personality or ability, since she is much more active and adventurous than her sister!
Interestingly, I felt the babies move much less than I did my singleton. I think it's because there just wasn't enough room in there.

I barely felt Baby A. Really only when she'd hiccup. Baby B was very active and was constantly kicking, hitting, and stretching. How much you feel the babies really depends on where they are positioned.

I'm right there with ya -- I feel Baby A constantly... Baby B not so much. In fact about 10 days ago I realized it had been almost 24 hours since I felt Baby B (it was a weekend) so called the hospital to see if they could just check for a heartbeat... they wanted me there asap - got hb immediatly and then they did an u/s -- I could see her totally moving (and she had hiccups) but I couldn't feel it at all!
I guess from reading everyone's responses - this is quite normal to feel one baby much more than the other....

Thanks for all your responses. I feel a bit better after reading this. I heard both heart beats last night, so I think the placenta or the baby's position is making it harder to feel.
