My little ones have been having solids for about 3 weeks now.. I think.. time escapes me these day... WELL I was wondering if you feed them both at the same time alternating spoon fulls or if you feed one and then the other. Currently I am feeding them at the same time and it is HARD. Paige cries while I try and get Zeke (the hard to feed one) to eat.
We are only doing one meal a day at this point I can not even imagine adding another..

I alternate spoonfuls. I figure it also gives them time to swallow and digest their food before getting the next spoonful.

I feed them at the same time...it is hard though. My little chunk gets upset when I feed her sister. I guess has to learn patience!

I've always fed the girls at the same time. Sometimes they'll fuss - but they are used to it now. I alternate spoonfuls - now that the girls are trying other stuff, I'll give one a green bean - the other a spoonful of baby food and alternate - gives the green bean eater a chance to chew! I think twins learn a little more patience early on than singletons, as they have to wait for diaper change, bath, spoonfuls, etc. :)

Ditto! It does get easier as time goes on.

The boys have been on solids for a little over a month now and I feed them at the same time. I give them 1/2 of their bottle to begin with...kinda to take the edge off....then feed them...then the rest of the bottle. (I use podees so they have them right there in the highchairs) I just pull up a chair in front of them and alternate spoonfuls. One is "processing" the goo in his mouth while I fill up the other. Seems to be working alright...no fussy dudes and most of the food gets in!

One bowl, one spoon and two little birds with their mouths open. If they're particularly hungry or tired they do get frustrated when I feed the other, but I find putting a sippy cup of water on their tray distracts them enough to keep things calm.

wow, i must be the only one that does them separately. Ari is really tough to feed, won't open his mouth without tons of coaxing and even then it is a tiny crack... So since he's so much effort, i can't do both at the same time though that is what i always assumed i would do... Doing them separately is really tough and time consuming so i suggest you try to stick with doing them together unless there is a major problem (like my little Ari that won't eat...)
