Just a few things I have caught myself wondering about this age group lately...

    Do you ever wonder....

Why their little heads and door frames seem to be SO attracted to each other?
Why do they call finger paint, finger paint? Shouldn't it be all over my shirt and face paint?
What is it about noodles and hair? Why can't I ever get a noodle out of thier hair and why is it there in the first place?
How can a kid have an egg size lump and "not know" where or how they got it, but they can have a red spot on their finger and think they are going to bleed out?
When did grocery shopping become an olympic event in track and field?
How half a PB&J can cover an entire three year old, high chair and a wall?
Why cheeto's can't count as a dairy product? They have cheese in them right?
When did food with a natural texture and/ or color become "Grossy" when they ate it yesterday?
Why are animal crackers, crackers and not cookies? (My middle dd asked me this... I have no answer.)

How they figure out the child locks more quickly than the adults?
Who decided that bathroom stalls should have a 12" gap at the bottom (just big enough for a kid to crawl under)?
Why they can open a locked door with a well-placed headbutt but I can't do it with my hand when I need to demonstrate the problem for DH?
Why is fingerpaint "too messy" for them but ranch dressing is perfect for faces, hair, bodies...
Why can they play on the swingset for an hour if I'm mowing the lawn but they're off and running up the road if I'm trying to work in my garden?

Last night I was wondering why cut up pieces of avocado are awesome but when I took some and mushed it up into guacamole they screamed until I took it off their plates.

Edited because I can't spell to save my life :)

I mostly wonder how my DH manages to go deaf between the hours of 10 PM and 7 AM.

I also wonder just how my boys seem to know the precise moment I am going to sleep and then decide to start crying.

And I wonder why the dog's toys and bones seem to be preferred table food...can't get them to eat a cracker, but they will try and eat the dog's bone!!!

Why when I want them to sleep does the slightest noise wake them up, but today when I needed them up early.. could I pick them up change their diapers and put shoes on them before they opened their eyes??

I wonder why do Lo Mein noodles stick so well to walls? And will the grease ever wash off or is it a permanent mark on my wall now?

I wonder why Ashley likes to brush her hair with her toothbrush but put a comb in her mouth?? :unknw:

Why they will throw their food on the floor as if they don't want it but then you take them out of their chairs and before you can sweep, they have eaten it all up off the floor?

How can such sweet, perfect, angelic, adorable little bodies produce the stickiest, smelliest, most VILE poop in all creation? :bad:

:rotflmbo: Too funny!!! I don't have any new ones to add but the Ranch dressing finger paint and the heads/door jams happen here all the time but sometimes the ranch is substituted with ketchup!

I totally forgot about ranch dressing and ketchup. They're like their own food group here. Natalie will LITERALLY drink the stuff if allowed.
How can they LOVE to splash in the tub or pool, stick their face in the water and play mermaid, but rinsing their hair incites blood curdling screams?

How this sweet little girl can act and look totally SOUND ASLEEP until I try to lay her down :lazy:

How 5 kids, all 5 from the same parents, raised exactly the same, two being twins- can each be SO different

Why my 9 year old will gag at the sight of cheese but ...call it "Mexican sauce" or if I melt Velveeta "yellow sauce" he is all over it!! :p

How these little girls can get dirt under there fingernails without doing anything dirty :unknw:

What I can invent to get rich quick..... I mean Teletubbies?????? they are dumb but whoever came up with them is sitting pretty! :a_smil09:

Why my husband just got a text message 10 minutes ago that I sent to him 3 days ago

What my MIL is going to come up with next?????

Why is it that they will barely touch their lunch but go outside in the yard and they eat dirt 'n' bugs 'n' junk 'n' stuff?
On the same note, why will they ignore the nice "clean" dirt to dig in and find some that the kitty did her business in? :bad:
And, why do they always always always have to walk in front of someone swinging? Why?

Why is it that my son won't care about a certain toy one bit until one of the babies touches it and then suddenly it's his favorite thing in the entire world and he will positively DIE unless he gets it back.

Why is the other one's pacifier better than the one currently in their own mouth?

Why is it on the days I don't go in to soothe them when they wake up during the night do they have complete diaper blow-outs? And on days I DO go in to check on them, nothing is wrong?

Why does my son ask me the same question 16,753 times in a row even though he knows the answer?

    LMAO :rotflmbo: :rotflmbo:

I wonder why I still sometimes even bother to clean up their toys in the middle of the day when they are going to totally tornado everything I did and I will only have to do it again at night

I wonder what the he// I was thinking letting them feed themselves a bowl of pastina with peas? What a freakin disaster that was tonight. I was like "Ooooh. I haven't made them pastina in a while." and I was like "Ok, girls let us practice with those spoons." Holy mess. I think thier pastina days are OVER!

I wonder why my dd is terrified of the vacuum when I'M vacuuming but when the cleaning lady is vacumming she is fine <_<

I wonder why the companies that make bags of potato chips, pretzels and the such, think that we are really stupid enough to believe that every bag needs that much air in for the preservation process. WHATEVER. Stop ripping us off!! %^&#%^&&*$%

Why they are incapable of hurrying?

I found out this weekend! After I told Bianca to hurry for the upteenth time, she says "What does hurry mean, mom?"
