This has been bugging me, Im thinking its probably from being sleep deprived for so long, but thought Id see if Im the only one.
Im a talker, and a fast one at that. But lately I will be talking and cant get the words out right, I end up feeling nervous when I talk now, I almost stutter sometimes. THis is driving me nuts.
Please tell me Im not the only one...

You are definitely not the only one. Some days I can't even put a sentence together! I blame it on Mommy brain! [IMG]

i have had SO many episodes of the word being "right on the tip of my tongue", and just CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME think of the right thing to say! i am sure it has to do with the sleep deprivation, as well as limited adult interaction! [IMG]

You're definitely not. Good thing we have to type responses in this forum. At least this is one place we can sound like we're making sense! [IMG]

Yup! I jumble up what I want to say, repeat myself forgetting I've already said something or draw a total blank about what to say if I'm with people I don't feel totally comfortable. Maybe it's sleep deprivation or being a sahm at talking to 7 month olds most of the day.
I'm sure it'll get better for all of us as time goes on.

I've always been like that. I stutter and fall over my tongue, I think that's why I like TS so much. I don't feel like a fool when I "talk" with you all. [IMG]

I was on the phone with my best friend and she was having some problems with her boyfriend and I kept saying hold on what was I saying......finally she said "Maggie do you need to call me back".....and I just started laughing and said I'm sorry I haven't had much sleep lately.....I felt horrible that she was upset but I couln't even concentrate on what she was saying

yes!!!- i feel like there is some kind of weird delay switch from my brain to my mouth. like i'll know someone's name but it takes me like a few seconds longer to get it out- and i tell people the same stories over and over- etc. SO glad to hear it isn't just me

Oh my gosh... I am the same as you. Plus, I get so excited to talk to adults that I really lose it and then feel like an idiot so I fumble more!
