Do you "drop" with a twin pregnancy?

You know how most women pregnant with a singleton will "drop" towards the end of the pregnancy, and their belly seems much lower, as the baby moves into the birthing canal? Does that happen with a twin pregnancy?

My first pregnancy with DS, I never got to that point - I delivered at 35 weeks and never dropped.

Tonight I'm feeling movement MUCH lower than before, and even baby B who is normally nice and high in my diaphragm is showing movement more towards the middle of my stomach. Just very strange to me the change in feelings tonight...

I couldn't feel it as much as other people told me that the bump moved south.... good luck!

People told me I did, but I could not tell. It just seemed like my belly kept growing outward!

I did notice that I dropped a little bit at the end, it wasn't super noticable, but it definitely did droop a little more!

I have had numerous people tell me that my belly is lower! Though, I also feel like it's just jetting out in front of me like a previous poster said. I do feel a lot more pressure and movement lower than before and I'm 34 weeks now. It would make sense that the babies drop, but what do I know?

FWIW - the twins were my first and they dropped at 34 weeks. It was a clear thing, lots of people commented. I was worried they'd come early, but know first-timers sometimes drop weeks before birth. Then the twins adjusted themselves and went back to riding high at 36 weeks. I went straight from worrying about them coming early to worrying about them coming late.

No 2nd drop as we did home induction with castor oil at 39 weeks.

    You never know!

    Best wishes!
