This week, it's gotten COLD at night. I've been turning the thermostat up a little at night b/c my feet get downright chilly! As I was doing laundry today, I went through the jammies drawer & almost all of their jammies are the 2 pc kind with short sleeves. I'm thinking that maybe I should take them out & replace with long sleeved, footed kind.....but am cringing at the cost. I'm warm when I sleep at night but I've got a big down comforter on me! I put blankets in the cribs, but they toss & turn so much that they never stay on.

I have seen Carter's fleece footed jammies on sale for 50% off at places like Kohl's, Macy's and the Carter's store this week.

Up here my girls sleep in onesies, fleece footed jammies and then a fleece sleepsack that has footholes (not like the bunting type you use when they are babes). My girls don't use blankets either, so I figure the sleepsack is their blankie.

I do three different sets of PJs. Long sleeves and pants for fall and spring, short sleeves and shorts for summer, and fleece feety pajamas for winter. I live in a climate with some major extremes though, so that might make a difference. I wait until Kohls has some good sales, use a 15% off code, and by them then.

We live in the Canada and we definitely have winter PJ's. Everyone wears long sleeve's in the winter and we have at least 3 times PJ's with long sleeves than. Currently it's about -20 with the wind and we are in fleece PJ's with wool quilts.
The baby has fleece PJ's and a sleeping bag and a heater.

We do the same thing. A variety of styles.

I do traditional blanket sleepers for winter, and cotton 2 pc either long sleeve pants for spring and fall and shorts and t-shirts for summer...

Carters fleece blanket sleepers (with feet) are $6.88 a pair at Sams club

Yes I definately change PJ's they have been wearing light long sleeve pj's since October and just recently in the last two weeks footie pj's and two piece flannel. Thankfully my mom loves to buy pj's but if you shop online in clearance you can usually find a lot of deals, walmart, kmart.

Pjs are one thing we buy a lot of because there are many days where they (and myself) practically live in them. It is very cold here right now at night (30's-40's) and although we have central heat, their room is always like 5 degrees colder than ours. We keep the temp at 70 at night but their room is around 65 or so. We deffinately do the fleece pjs in the winter with one of those halo wearable blankets. You would be pretty surprised how cheap the footed pjs are. They seem to always be on sale. I have gotten 3 for 20 deals at Children's place and I have gotten up to 70% off on the fleece ones at the Carter's outlet (I think I paid $3 a pair last time). Walmart also carries some fleece pjs for very cheap prices (I think they actually carry Carters). I only use the 2 piece sets during the hot summer months but even then they still often wear the blanket because of the central ac.

Check out on line too. They always seem to have pjs on sale. I just saw this 2 pack at Walmart on line. I have also seen them at Sam's club

Oh, right! My friend told me she got some at Bj's recently for a good price.

We still have the A/C on here! But we live in a tropical climate..... They do have 2 piece PJ sets with short sleeves and long sleeves. I usually leave one heavy blanket out when I put them down for the night and then cover them up before I go to bed. They usually leave it on cause they're sound asleep and done rolling around.
Ebay is a great alternative for finding PJ lots fairly inexpenisively.

Yes!!! Footed fleece pjs for the winter, long sleeves and pants for the spring and fall, and short sleeves and shorts for the summer. We buy all their jammies at Sams or Costco and they are really inexpensive. We recently switched to the Carter's two-piece fleece pjs (no feet) because the footed jammies do not fit Ben's enormous feet!

We're a little older, but I think it depends on the kid. If they are comfy let it be.

Okay at that age, we did wear footed Children's Place PJ's (my favorites) in the Winter. But now my girls won't wear them. Melissa in particular does not like to be too warm and only wants satin pajamas -- everything else is "too warm".

And we keep their room moderately cool too, but I get it, I don't like to be too warm when I sleep either.

Jade's current favorite pj's are thermal Toronto Maple Leafs pj's we brought back from the Hockey Hall of Fame in October. Too cute.

We do the same thing. I don't necessarily stick to pajamas though and will use just regular long sleeve t-shirts or tank tops when they are appropriate. Sometimes you can get stuff like that for $1 on clearance.

In the winter, the girls wear fleece to bed and Dax is in long sleeves, pants, and a fleece sleepsack.

Mine sleep in footie fleece jammies year round. We like to keep it chilly at night during the summer, so it works out just fine. We only vary it if it's REALLY hot in the summer (so that the AC can't cool the house well enough) -- then we put them in short-sleeved onesies under their sleep sacks. Or if it's truly frigid at night, we'll put a onesie under the PJs.

Definitely! In the winter mine are in footed PJ's and sleep sacks (I just got the bigger kind with the feet in them for this winter).

Most definitely! But then we have no heating or cooling system in our house!
We also have mosquito issues so in the summer they are in long pants and long selved seersucker or other light weight material jammies, then we have similiar t-shirt material sleepers for cooler than the hottest nights, then flannel sleepers and finally fleece sleepers, on the coldest nights which drop down to the high 30s outside they wear their t-shirt material pjs UNDER their fleece sleepers!

Mine have been in fleece footed PJ's for several months now (Michigan). Eventually we'll probably put two piece jammies underneat the fleece ones, when it's really cold at night. They never stay covered up.
