Do twins drop, even if the mom is short?

Height is 5'0. 31 weeks, 1 day with identical twin girls. Still have rib pain. The babies aren't presenting, but we want them to, and wonder if the opportunity could come when they drop, but maybe they won't drop because of the short height. Anyone have experiences being short, with twins?

 

Hi I am 32 wks with ID boys and am right at 5'2. I think being a shorter woman makes it feel like they don't because your torso is shorter than most. My daughter carried high in my ribs the entire time, but my boys are much lower. One of my twins was head up til 30 weeks and flipped so it just all depends. Fortunately sometimes the rib pain is not as uncomfortable as the pelvic to some. My boys feel like they are so deep in my hips I can barely stand up straight. Either way don't worry to much!

I am 5'4 and I swear my girls never dropped or rather I could never tell if they had. I felt like I was pregnant with one giant octopus LOL!! There was baby everywhere! I also had stabbing vaginal pains with every step I took which made me think that at any minute baby A would stick her hand out and wave at us LOL!! It was awful!! I had rib pain until the end and how they didn't just fall out is a true mystery to me LOL!! CONGRATULATIONS on your sweet babies!!!! Oh and my girls were both head down for the first time at 37 weeks after being breech and transverse until then. But at my last appt the day before they were born they were breech and transverse again!! So c section it was!
