Do they look identical to you? If so, can they still look different?

We just had our baby boys on Thursday (6/25) at 37.1 weeks. We went yesterday for his first checkup at the pedi and both were back to their birth weights of:

Baby A --- 7lbs8oz - 19.75in.
Baby B --- 7lbs 4oz. - 20.5in.

We've been told all along by our perinatologist and OB that they are identical and other nurses agreed.......My best friend has a pair of identical twin girls that look like CLONES at the age of 4.

However, our boys have slight differences in their heads and noses.....and other slight differences. Is this normal? Does the gap close as they age? I don't think they were mistaken about being identical but anything is possible I guess......I was just surprised to see how easy it is to tell them apart......is that normal already at this young age?

Do they appear identical or fraternal......not like it matters one bit....just curious.

I think they look pretty similar to me. My sisters are identical twins and everyone always gets them confused even at 25, but I have never gotten them confused. Even looking at their baby pictures now, I can clearly tell who is who. My parents never had a problem telling who is who. You will probably never have a problem because you see them everyday and notice their subtle differences.

 

They look a lot alike to me but it's hard to tell when they are so little. My girls were di/di and I was sure they were fraternal when they were born because we could easily tell them apart. As they got a little older (3months) we noticed they were looking more and more alike so we had them tested and they came back ID!

I think that thye look identical, but I can see where you would see some differences, but THEY ARE SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!! I could just squish them they are just so adorable!!

Yes ID and Adorable!!! And as they get older they will look even more alike. In the beginning everyone could tell mine apart and now they are having a very hard time.

 

Love the pics! I am waiting on my boys and it is so fun to see pics of other twin boys! Just showed my dh as a glimpse into our future!

they are adorable!!!! they look ID to me! My girls are identical and have many differences. I can clearly tell mine apart!
