Do I really need two exersaucers?

I've got one and my mom makes me feel guilty for not having another. When I've got one baby in it she says "Look she wants to play in it too, you need to get another one." They are not crying or fighting over it. I don't know where I'd put another one anyway. I've already got 2 swings, 2 bouncers, 2 play gyms and doubles of other toys. What things do you find you absolutely need 2 of?

I had one exersaucer and one jumperoo which was perfect so they could alternate and some days one preferred one more than the other. I think having two is a matter of personal opinion. If you think one is fine, then it is! :D

No I had one exersaucer, when one would be in it the other would be under the play gym, in the swing, bouncer. They were too big to have two although I did have two jumperoos and only bought the other because they loved it so much and they closed up.

I originally got two. I only opened one and ended up returning the second one. You really only need 1. They can take turns.

We have one saucer and one jumperoo, and we switch the babies back and forth. But, if we only had one, then they'd share that one -- it's hardly a big deal. The one not using it can just play on the floor....I've heard that saucers are not so good for development, anyway, and babies shouldn't spend a lot of time in them.

I definitely wouldn't get another one at this age, unless you plan to have more children -- our kiddos won't be in them much longer!

We have four bouncies (two on each floor), but only one playmat that they share.

We opted for one exersaucer and one jumperoo. That way, they each got to "do" something, and they could alternate "activities." Think of it as baby circuit training! ;)

We have 2 exersaucers and 1 jumperoo! They have been a god send with the reflux. It keeps them upright and minimizes the spitting.

We are already thinking of getting rid of at least oen though as the reflux is getting better and Elizabeth is crawling everywhere, so she doesnt want to be confined.

I would say at the age of your little ones, it would not be worth it now. :)

I already had 1 exersaucer from my oldest child, but I bought a 2nd one for the twins off of Craigslist. I usually did put both of them in the exersaucers at the same time and they would laugh and smile at each other plus it kept both of them contained at the same time. An exersaucer and jumperoo also sounds like a great idea. I had a jumperoo for my oldest, but sold it because she didn't seem to like it. Loooong before I knew I would be having twins!

We only had on Exersaucer as well. I think one is plenty especially since you have plenty of other toys/items. We were told to only allow them to sit in them for 10-15 minutes at a time anyway.

I will jump on the bandwagon of having 1 exersaucer and 1 jumperoo... and I'll add that I also have 1 (gasp!) walker (we live in a one-story house). The girls rotated between these three things and the toys on the floor. For the last month or so we've only been playing on the floor because now that they cruise they don't want to be confined in any toy. I say save your money and stick with what you've got.

I had one jolly jumper and one exersaucer at first. Then I borrowed a second exersaucer and I was really glad to have it. If you have the room and somebody has a spare one, I'd borrow it.

    Ditto

If your kids are happy then no need to go out and buy another.

We had just one and never had any problems. Once Jazz learned to walk Jessy would sit in it and Jazz would go round and round the outside

We also survived with one exersaucer and one jumperoo.

I had 2 exersaucers, 2 bouncy seats, 2 swings and 2 playmats and one jumparoo. I was able to do more of a rotation with them during the day to keep them active and busy as it's very hard to keep them entertained when they are in that age and when they still can't really sit up.

I have one exersaucer, one jumparoo and one walker type thing ( i lock most of the time so they can not move it) and it was great... I just wish i had a better exersaucer but now at their age it is too late...
