Do I really need a lawyer for this kind of lawsuit?

I’ve been wondering for a while now: my son was diagnosed with autism, and during my pregnancy I took Tylenol quite often. I’m not sure if I should try to file a lawsuit myself or if it’s absolutely necessary to have a lawyer handle everything. Has anyone been through this?

One of my coworkers once told me she tried handling a different medical case without legal help, and she got lost in the paperwork and deadlines really fast.

When my family first thought about filing, I honestly believed I could do it on my own. I started collecting medical records and looking up legal forms, but quickly realized how complicated everything gets when courts expect expert testimony and strict deadlines. Later, I came across https://federal-lawyer.com/autism-l...yer-to-file-an-autism-lawsuit-against-tylenol, and it really opened my eyes. It explains that while technically you can file by yourself, the odds of success drop without an attorney who knows how to handle mass tort litigation. In my case, once we got a lawyer involved, he organized all the medical evidence, worked with specialists, and made sure the claim was filed correctly. Honestly, it made all the difference — I wouldn’t risk going alone.
