The reason I ask is that I am losing alot of my hair.
And since I am asking, did anyone see a chiropractor while pg? I haven't been able to pop my back for a long time and whenever I sit down I have sharp pains in the mid of my back next to spine....thought maybe a good pop would help.

One thing I loved about being pregnant with my daughter was my hair and nails were beautiful... this time around not so much! I am assuming that it is due to the fact that two take more out of your body than 1. With that said, I have not been told to increase any vitamins by my doctor, and I have asked a couple of times and they said no your prenatal should be good...

I did have a lot of back pain with my first and I did see a chiropractor. Ask your doctor for recomendations. My midwife had someone who was experienced with pregnant women.

I would consult your doc in regards to both of these issues.

I would ask your doctor. Mine doubled my prenatal vitamin once the babies reached a certain point. Defiantely not something to do on your own with the iron and b vitamins involved as well as each prenatal is different.

I was told to continue taking my prenatal vitamin as normal and was then given a prescription for extra Folic Acid only,

    I'm losing hair too..argh.

My OB has me taking a regular prenatal and prescribed an extra mg of folic acid and recommended fish oil too.

My Doc upped my pre-natals after my morning sickness subsided. When I was preg with all my boys my hair was thick and full and this time around it seems thin and stringy (how I have no idea since I do get it trimmed every 6 weeks from the same girl) but I guess everyone is different as well as every pregnancy is different. Talk to your Doctor about upping your vitamins, it didn't help my hair but it may yours!

I asked my dr the same questions... he said no. I just had to up my iron.. (i am anemic) I guess it also depends on your Dr and how they feel about twin pregnancies.
