Okay, so today I decide to get a sitter and go have lunch with my two dearest friends from work (pre-twins). While I'm gone, I put my cell phone in my purse, thinking I'd hear it if it rang...forgetting that it was still on vibrate from some reason earlier this week...
Well, go to check my phone after about 1 1/2 hours of being gone to find 10 missed calls and 2 voicemails!!!! Julia, my oldest dd, had accidentally slammed Owen's fingers in the door!!!!!!! Poor babysitter to have to deal with all that!! Anyway...so we had to take him in to the ped since the fingers were still swollen 3 hours later. All was okay(except his screaming during the x-ray!) and they splinted the fingers. Within 45 minutes, he had the splint off and handed me the cushioning to it with a very proud "EH" when I took him out of the car. (Man, can those guys be cute!! :p ) On the way back into the house, he puts his fingers IN THE DOOR and looks at me like he's saying "Hey, mom, look where my fingers are!" I swear he'll be the death of me!! (he's also the one who had 7 stitches at 12 mo.!)
Anyway...just my fun story for the day!
    :) Nicole

Wow, yes he is a little daredevil! Were his fingers broken? Or were they just swollen? All I can say is Look Out! He will definitely be the "death" of you!

Oh yeah, Lily thinks she's invincible! She will climb to the top of the baby gate and leeeeaaaannn way over to try and get stuff off the counter! Drives me insane! She has fallen a few times, but that hasn't stopped her from getting right back up there!

Laney is my little daredevil she stands ontop of the rocking horse like you see those girls do at the circus and see trys to climb over the babygate, not there yet and I have to keep the crib railing up because then she climbs in and out. Yesterday they were playing in there room and DD1 said Laney climbed in her crib mind you it is all the way up so I lift her in theere while we cleaned up. I asked her if she liked baby jail and she said NO.

That is why mine are in toddler beds at 20 months. Logan is going to be the "death" of me. HE CLIMBS EVERYTHING. He will stand on his bike, or ANYTHING with wheels rather and "surf". So far nothing broken...knock on wood. Lots of bumps and bruises though, and eggs on his forehead from falling head first from whatever he is climbing up on. The other one, is rather quiet type. He don't climb MUCH. But he can lift anything. We call him our little Hercules, or Bam Bam. But he doesn't do much that will hurt him. You are Not alone!
