Do breathable bumpers work for you?

Seriously, do they work for you?

DD always gets his feet/legs stuck on top of them, then it just pulls the bumpers down. Ugh. I'm going insane having to go back upstairs all the time to get his feet out, and needless to say it's taking ages for him to settle down for naps because of it.

It's driving me insane, and short of switching to a pack'n play, I don't see any solution...

Yes they absolutely work. My daughter always got caught in the wrungs of the crib until I used a breatable bumper that I bought from one step ahead. I recommmend it.

just an idea, but what if you bought another one and doubled them on top of eachother (overlaped them) so it took up the whole side of the crib, from under the railing to the mattress. I know they are kind of expensive but it might work???

We just put one in tonight. I hope it works. I agree with the PPs suggestion that I would try getting another one to see if that would do it.

not really. we got one for marina and she would just kick it down and get stuck anyway. or she'd tear it apart at the velcro, which she still does now. i took it off at the front of the crib and kept the side/back part on, only because she doesn't kick it down at the back of the crib so it stays up, and i dont want her to see the cable outlet that's a few inches down back there.

Oh yes! I love them!! Maya would always get stuck and scream. Now that she's sleeping in her crib, she also sometimes sleeps right against the bumper- so they need to be breathable!

We just use regular bumpers, we got them when they were about 5.5mnths old - they were always getting their arms and legs stuck, and I wasn't worried about SIDS because they can move really well and get out of any trouble.
