Do anyone else's kids do this (cute) thing?

My girls are fans of The Wonder Pets. Jade is Tuck, Melissa is Ming Ming, and I am Linny :) (BTW, what do you think - Linny, boy or girl?). Anyway, they go through large portions of the day singing back and forth what they are doing, clearly in WP style. It's cute, but a little strange.

    Any others do this?

    OMG Yes!

They also do it at dinner. They have us take turns on being each character and singing out the name.

Linny - boy/girl? We are the wrong people to ask. We thought it was Winnie for the longest time!

My big girls used to (they didn't assign characters though). Very cute! :)

 Linny is a girl. There's at least one episode where Tuck/Ming Ming refer to Linny as 'her' (it's in 'save the mouse' when Linny is sick and Tuck and Ming Ming go to the attic to save the mouse without her).
Please don't ask me why I remember this stuff, there is far too much space in my brain filled with triva on children's cartoon characters!

My kids do this with that show and the Backyardigans, too. They also do it with real life people. Meghan will be Caroline, Kerin or Katherine (juj's K) and Nolan is Tommy, Ben or Michael(juj's M). It is almost always two siblings, but they have also been known to be Grandma and Grandpa as well. And all conversation is directed to their character.

That is pretty funny. They don't necessarily sing everything, but they often go around singing "What's gonna work? Teamwork"

I also thought it was Winny for a long time. I would have guessed it's a boy, but I'm not really good at determining hamster gender.

Mine don't do it with the Wonder Pets, but with the "Skippyjon Jones" books. Timothy is Skippyjon and Sarah is JuJuBee. They share Skippyjon's other 2 sisters as their shared imaginary friends, Jezebel and JillyBoo. I am officially "Mama Junebug Jones". They literally will set up card or board games for 4 players and each of them helps one of the imaginary friends play also. It's quite amusing because alot of the time they are involved in a 4-way conversation with Timothy voicing Jezebel and Skippyjon and Sarah voices JuJuBee and JillyBoo.

It's specifically the singing thing that I was talking about. But yes, for almost any show or book, we are all assigned roles.

ETA: Oh, and I thought it was Winnie too, until Jade started saying "Lenny" and I started hearing that too, and so I looked it up on noggin.com.
