I'm ordering the test to see if the boys are ID or Frat. For those of you that have done it, did you use DNA solutions.com?

I have to call to get a price, so before I do I just wanted to check with you all!

Yes, we used them. There were a few options. We decided not to do a full up DNA test which was around $140...I think. You could order a color diagram of the DNA strands for extra too. It was just $99 for the 99% accurate test.

I used proactive genetics. The total cost was 160.00 and I was very satisfied with there service. They will email you the results, so you don't have to wait for them to come in the mail and you also get the mailed copy as well.

UMMM Tarin, I know you want to know for sure, but your boys are definitely IDENTICAL! :) Anyways, I used dnasolutions for $99 and loved the service. However someone wrote on another post recently that they upped their price to $130 (or something like that). I haven't verified that price though.

I'm pretty certain it's a given your boys are identical!

Just checked the site. The same test I ordered is now $139. Tarin, I agree with Pam on this one...save the $$$! They are definitely ID! You could buy TWO Skip Hop Diaper Bags with that money!

I have used proactive genetics twice (once for my sister and I and once for my sister's girls) and they were great. I think it was around $160 or $170 but the results were quick and we got both email results and snail mail, too.
I also think your boys are identical, but if you're uncertain, I think it's worth every penny to find out for sure! Keep us posted!!

We used Affiliated Genetics and I was very happy with them. I see they've raised their prices as well, though.

It's SOOO funny you say that because I have the DNA solution tab open RIGHT next to the skip hop website to order a new diaper bag!!!

I'm using my "birthday" money to make these purchases so I figured if I have a few extra dollars around, I may as well test the babies!

LOL! The Skip Hop is SOOOO worth it! I used my Christmas money to do our test. Knowing for sure was worth it for me too. Good luck with your decision!

I know you probably have already tried this, but a "cheaper way" is to get them blood typed....I wasnt sure if mine were ID or Frat at first so they tested their blood type and one was A+ one was O so they are DEFINETLY not ID. Just thought I'd therow that past you. I had never thought to do that until the Dr in the NICU suggested it before I spent $$$ on the DNA test. Good luck!! I would put my $ on ID!! :)
