First, I am sorry I haven't been around. A *little* hurricane called Ike has made things very interesting for us. We managed to survive, me BFing all 3 babies for 5 days while we were w/o electricity but no damage was done to the house although we had a very close call w/ a tree...it ended up on our neighbors garage & not on our bedroom!

The results for the DNA test came that same week. The girls are indeed fraternal. I had a gut feeling all along but put all my eggs in 1 basket when the perinatologist said they were identical. I took her word for it & as it turns out, she was wrong. I received a copy of the pathology report & although it does say that the trio is dichorionic/triamniotic, it also said that 2 placentas were fused & even numbered them placenta #2 & #3. Anywho...those that voted fraternal, give yourselves a pat on the back!

As for our 6 mth well baby, here are the stats...

    Gabi ~ 15.6 (45%), 26 1/4" (60%)
    Sofi ~ 14.10 (25%), 25 3/4" (50%)
    Ian ~ 14.6 (5%), 26 1/8" (50%)

Gabi is officially off of the high calorie formula (Enfacare) & on to the regular stuff! Sofi & Ian both need to put on some weight so we will continue w/ the Enfacare. JustSofi's teeth are budding so she is going to be the next 1 to have some "Ikes". Ian is still a ways off though. They have hit all their developmental milestones except for sitting. Another thing for me to work on! They can balance for 2-3 seconds but then they topple over.

Um, I think that is about it! Oh....we get 2 solids per day now, in the am & then again in the pm. WOOT! Meats to be introduced in 2 mths.

Congrats on the 6 month mark! Those are great weights! Don't worry about the sitting so much. My boys didn't do it until 7 months. You have to remember there were early! :) Give yourself a big pat on the back for bfing all three in no power! You are Supermommy of the Year!

Yay for babies hitting their milestones! My girls weren't sitting unassisted at 6 months, I wouldn't worry about that!

Yep, I love our morning BFing session. It is great to lay down in our bed w/ each 1 of them & have that special 1 on 1 time w/ them. I LOVE IT!

Great appointment Astrid! I am glad that you all made it out of Ike alright! Mine were not sitting too well at 6 months either, we could sit them and they would topple over after a couple of minutes.
