a spin off of my disney post.. do you recommend renting the double strollers there or bringing our own? We will be staying on disney property and will not have a car of our own. Let me know what you think for the 2 year old crowd?!

We just went to DisneyWorld a month ago and we rented the double strollers. We stayed off-property and I do think there was a slight inconvenience to having to carry them to and from the parking lot (especially at the end of the day when we were all pooped), but I still wouldn't have changed it. I didn't want to have to worry about someone walking off with my personal stroller. The employees of the park are constantly rearranging the strollers while you are on the rides and if you take something like the railroad across the park, you have to completely ditch your stroller and pick up a new one of the other side and I would have had anxieties about all of that if I was using my stroller.

The rentals are something like $10 a day so you have to decide if that cost is too much for you. If you take your own stroller, label it well with something that makes it obviously yours. It should also be foldable because you will need to fold it if you want to go on the monorail or buses. You can also take two of the cheap umbrella strollers since there are two of you to push babies.

We will be taking our Sit n Stand and an umbrella stroller when we go to Disneyland next month. At a minimum, I plan to tape big signs with our last name inside a gallon size ziploc on each stroller. I want the convenience of keeping the kids fresh on the way to the park in the morning and allowing them to ride in the stroller back to the hotel when they are worn out at night. I also just can't spend $20 a day for strollers when we're already buying tickets and hotel.

    Have fun!

The rental price on double strollers just went up, So, you may want to keep that in mind.

I was happy I brought my own - Graco DuoGlider tandem. Made it easier if one person wanted to take both girls. I brought a backpack purse to carry my wallet, camera, etc with me on the rides. I've heard that people find their bags missing or picked through when left with the strollers - especially awful when you lose your pictures.

One nice thing about having your own stroller is being able to find it more quickly in the sea of rental strollers when you exit a ride.

    Have a great time!

    Best,
    Mia
