Disappointed!

Hi everyone,

Well, I went in today to confirm I'm having twins and there was just one baby! I went in two wks ago and they detected 2 hbts, but today the tech assured me that there's only one! I'm not devastated, but I was expecting two! Anyway, I guess I'm a little disappointed. Maybe next time, since it runs in the family!

Am sending you best wishes.... I think you would be abnormal if you weren't disappointed - so don't be too hard on yourself. Here's to a wonderful singleton pregnancy - and another twin pregnancy in the future.

Another thing that happened is that when they detected the second hbt two wks ago, they did it with the TV, they didn't see it with the regular u/s. And yesterday I told the tech that did my u/s and she didn't do a TV, she just said that she was positive there's only one!
Anyway, we're still very excited and happy. We're blessed for being able to conceive and now I have to keep the ball rolling! Thank you all so much for all the nice words!

 

I am sorry things didn't work out the way you were originally hoping. It is great that you are pregnant though and have such a positive attitude. Good luck, and maybe next time we will see you again.
