I just had another scan done. All looked great cervix wise, growth etc. But Baby A had flipped from being head down to breech. Baby B is laying diagonally across, close to head down. I asked the u/s tech if it's common that Baby A could move back and she was hesitant. But my OB said I had a lot of time. I'm wondering if he was just humoring me? Did anyone have their babies flip again past this point? I really wanted to have a vaginal delivery.

My Dr. had told me that it's not uncommon for twins to stay the way they were at their 20-24 week ultrasounds, but both my guys flipped multiple times after that - literally different on every single ultrasound. Baby A finally went head down again at 32 weeks and B decided to follow at 33 - hopefully to stay this time. I hit 35 today and I am really hoping they are out of room and can't flip back again!

My twin A has been head down since the very first scan. Baby B was transverse until 28 weeks, then went oblique breech, and at 36 weeks 2 days flipped to head down.

My baby B flipped from head down to breech between 26 and 30 weeks.

Baby A has was transverse and then went to head down and Baby B has always been breech and when we went yesterday she was head down too....the Dr said there is still time for one if not both to flip again.

I delivered at 36 weeks 6 days via untrasound as both babies were breech and had been since week 22!

Mine flipped around last week. My OB said they 'usually' stop around 32 weeks, but anything can happen!

My little girl twin has flipped twice since 26 weeks. She was breech, then when I went in the next week, she was vertex. I was in for an ultrasound yesterday and she had flipped again, back to breech. I am going to be 30 weeks on Thursday. So, it's definitely possible, if they have a good amount of space to flip around!
    Take care...

Baby A has consistently been head down. Baby B was consistently head up, then he flipped at about 31 or 32 weeks.....then he flipped back to head down a week later and has stayed put. I think he likes putting his rear-end in his brother's face.

Baby B was breech for most of my pg. She turned once for about a week before turning breech again, but I can't remember how far along I was. I had a c-section because of her.

Mine flipped from transverse to both head down at around 34-35 weeks. But my girl--don't know how this happened--crawled back up to being transverse near the end of my pregnancy.

Still--I was able to try for a vaginal birth since the first one was head down.

Good luck, it still can happen!! :D

At 27 weeks Baby girl A was head down and Baby girl B was breech. Then at my 31st week ultrasound Baby girl B was transverse but in the middle of the ultrasound she turned head down so then both girls were head down. I'm in my 34th week now and I'll have another u/s next week - my doctor said that this will probably tell us how they are going to stay but I guess anything is possible.

It is always possible!! Mine flipped somewhere between 20 weeks & 26 weeks and then baby A stayed breech.

  15. My babies tried turning the day i had em. They ended up laying crossways so i had to have a c-section and i had really wanted a vaginal delivery. But the moment i saw them it no longer mattered how they got here just that they were here.

My baby b flipped from breech to vertex at 36 weeks! I had a smooth delivery, no c/s!

My babies were in different positions at every u/s with either one or both breech. Then around 34 weeks they were both head down. I was shocked! They stayed that way until I delivered at 38 weeks, but I had to have a c-section anyway for other reasons.

My Baby A has always been vertex. B had been breech. But at my u/s today, she decided to turn head down in the middle of the scan!

Ainsley never flipped but Sierra did quite a bit. There's still tons of room in there at 21 weeks.

I was in the hospital for 4 days before I delivered and had 3 ultrasounds during those 4 days to check position and the babies were in different positions EVERY time! I ended up having an emergency c/s so it didn't really matter, but there is room to move around for them up to the end :)

THANK YOU!!! That makes me feel better. It bummed me out to see Baby A breech yesterday but it's good to hear that lots could change. I can't imagine its comfy in there with them kicking each other in the head. LOL
