OMGodness! Say it isn't so! I can't believe Norah and Nevan are already the BIG 1. I remember always reading your posts on expecting...........which means the BIG 1 is right around the corner for us!! Congrats on getting thru the first year! Your kids are adorable, btw!

Wow I can't believe it either! It was a blur... the one thing I remember vividly was coming home, hobbling out of the car holding Nevan thinking.. "Dear God, what am I going to do with two of 'em?" That thought quickly faded when I sat on the couch and nursed them, then it felt like home. The first year, I did all those things that singleton moms say are too hard... I nursed exclusively for a year (and going!) I made my own baby food and I am still using attachment parenting to raise them both. I will admit, cloth diapering was too hard for me! I still have yet to sleep a full night but I guess you get used to it.

The birthday started small with 10 people with a naming celebration... now its 40 people + that seems to be growing! We are using two peas in a bucket theme, probably the only year we can share a theme. I figure the naming ceremony will be the bulk of the party with some catered food and music. All I can manage these days!

Before and after pics of us.. they came in the first year nursing so I figure I'd let them go into 1-5 that way.. I couldn't have done it with TS.. thank you First Year Mommas for helping me through!

 

Erykah!! I cant believe your babies are a year old. I also meeting you on the expecting twins board! Norah & Nevan are so so gorgeous! You're so amazing, still breastfeeding and everything!! Rock on SuperMum!
