did you get the baby blues around this age?

My sister's been in the hospital the last couple of days......she's 32 weeks & started having some contractions. I went to see her tonight & she's doing a lot better (yay!!!) but being in the delivery room & seeing the monitors & the nurses & all that (same hospital that I delivered at) and I was ready to have another!!! She said she got the "baby blues" when her son was the same age......not really a baby anymore.

So am I gonna grow out of this??? :huh:

 

ardon: I don't know if it will pass! I started having baby fever about a month ago, and it has gotten better this week {thanks to my twinks being sick :lol:} but who knows! Just wanted to let you know you aren't the only getting the itch... or fever... :wacko:

 

I think I started wanting another one around 18 months or so. I think mine were 22 months when I got pregnant with Elizabeth - so yes! The same age

 

I too have the baby blues. I am waiting until we move to PR before we decide what we want to do. At least over there I would totally have help. If we were going to stay here, we most likely wouldn't be having any more. It's just too difficult without having ANY family support.

 

Yep, me too!! I get the itch every 3 years and when I attend my yearly La Leche League breastfeeding conference. Just seeing all those moms with babies does it to me. It is sooooo hard for some of us to feel "done"-I am jealous of those mothers who know when they are done, I fear I will never feel that way.....

 

I am having it right now really bad. DH keeps telling me he is done . He is afraid to get twins again...

Always starting around 18 months.....

 

I haven't said anything to dh about it. He said something awhile back about he'd love to have another, but is afraid we'd never get to do anything anymore. I think having kids has changed his lifestyle more than he expected. I keep telling him, it's only temporary.....pretty soon they'll be big enough to go camping & fishing and all the things he loves. I really think I've done a lot more of that with the kids so far than a lot of people would in the first year......he just feels like he doesn't get to get out as much as he used to. Plus, he worries about money.
