DID UR BABIES GET SICK WHEN U SWITCHED TO WHOLE MILK???

    No- ours didn't get sick.

    Tell us how your babies are sick (vomiting, diarrhea, etc.)- that might help other posters relate if possible. [​IMG]

    What kind of sick? We had no reaction to the switch. If you think they are having a reaction to it call your pedi and perhaps they can give you some insight. They could be lactose-intolerant, but if you were on regular formula before that's probably not likely. The only other thing is that it could be a coincidence and they maybe caught something somewhere.

    well yeah he started w/ a lil cough then it bcame more mucus like and now the vomitting no diarreah..the vomitting could be from the coughing im just wondering if its possible the milk switch has made him sick....i have an appt today w/ thier dr...but would like some feed back

    I have never heard of babies getting sick with a cough or vomiting after drinking whole milk but I have to say that your best bet is talking about it with your dr. Glad you have an appt!

    If they were drinking formula made with cow's milk (as opposed to soy) before you switched, I'd be surprised if going to milk could make them sick, but I'd be curious to know what your doctor says. Mine didn't have any effects from it at all.

    We just made the switch and Trevor has a cough/congestion, but it's not from the milk. He got the cough from his older sister who got her cough from school.
