Did they change the diaper?

I bought a huge box of Pampers at BJs (like Sam's club for those of you in the midwest), and I bought my normal huge box of 120+ diapers (pampers cruisers size 4) for the twins. The design on the front of them looked different, instead of just pictures of elmo, zoe, cookie etc. on the fronts, they had picture on the back too. I said, "Oh cool!"

Then we've been wearing them this week and the fiber comes out or something! The twins have these bits of fiber all over their bottoms and private parts. Granted it is very humid this week and we don't have air conditioner, but I am wondering...is anyone else having this problem?

    Bridget

Yeah Bridget! I noticed it too!! They have the cool new pics, but if you leave them on them wet too long (I tend to wait till they are pretty good and wet) they leave the lint behind!!!

Yea! At least I'm not crazy and losing my mind! I don't like these pampers! And I'm a big pampers lover. I think I might write them and complain!

    Give me the originals back!

Even before the change in design if we left them on too long they left lint behind. So I'm not sure if that is something new. I think the new design is cute, but I'm not sure if I buy that they fit better- as their commercial states. They seem to fit the same to me.

This has been happening to me as well. We bought a box from Sam's Club but I'm finding it's happening with these diapers no matter where I buy them. It's incredibly annoying and I felt like calling the company about it. It's also very very hard to get those little fuzzies off of them and with two girls, I'm always afraid that it will get in their V V and cause an infection. I'm very upset about it because I really love those diapers. They rarely ever leak and they seem to be able to walk around much more comfortably in them then the regular flex Pampers. I thought maybe that it was happening because they are now walking and there is more friction or because it is summer and they are sweating more often?? Maybe I should put in that call and find out what the deal is.

Same thing here too! And try getting the lint off a little boy's weenie when it "tickles" and he won't let me. I think it is a clever marketing ploy to make me go through more wipes. It's working!

YES!! Weve been using pampers for over 10.5 years and they've never done this before. EVERYONE PLEASE EMAIL THEM AND COMPLAIN! It gets stuck all over Maddox' scrotum and like a pp its tough to get it out with a giggling baby.!

I have noticed the change in the diapers for a while now. In fact my girls were wearing size 3 when they changed them and I had to move up to a size 4 because they didn't fit right anymore. Now the Size 4 leaks more through the leg because they are at low end of the weight requirements for the diaper. I also had alot of trouble with the change in the baby dry diapers too. They were wearing those at night with diaper doublers and I still had leak problems.

I agree with all the pp's there is definitly more lint left behind from the diapers on the girls when I change them.

All in all, I have been using pampers since they were born and never had any problems with them. I am very upset with this new change in the diapers. They just don't seem to be any better to me.

YES!!! I swear I thought I was doing something wrong or it was the wipes, but YES! Mine have had the same white fibers all over their bums!!!

I am so glad you said something...I thought it was me!

My oldest wore pampers exclusively. I never had any problems with lint. The twins started off on Huggies and have done well so I never felt I needed to change. But last week I got pampers because my store was out of my Huggies. I noticed the lint. it was everywhere! I thought, "I don't remember this when Anthony wore them"

I just went back to my huggies :) But I am glad to know that I am not crazy!

I noticed that problem with pampers cruisers as well. It was like my girls would have lint all over their bottoms when I would change them. We switched back to Pampers Baby Dry a long time ago.

We noticed the difference in the size 4 too.....plus I agree with pp that they fit a lot different as well and in our boys' case.....worse - lots of leaks, so we switched to Huggies Supreme size 4 and they fit the boys tons better.....which is weird b/c when they were newborns, Huggies fit them awful and we've used Papmers ever since. (until now of course)

I noticed to about the white fuzz. I saw the new pics a couple months ago. And they are leaking overnight-- if I don't have them in an overnight diaper, they soak thru.

I hate to tell you ladies, but it's in the size 5's too. that's what we've been using for a while now so I don't think it has anything to do with a specific size. They've changed something and they need to change it back.

I not so sure that it has anything to do with the size either because I remembering it happening in the size 3's for DD only when really soaked. It is very annoying though. I do have to put them in Huggies overnights though. Every once and a while I'll try a regular Pampers and we'll leak though.

We have the lint problem too and it even happens when the diapers are not on that long.

When they changed them a couple months back, I sent a complaint to Pampers. The fit was horrible and they leaked! They sent me some coupons and I tried the Baby Dry ones. That's what we use now. I don't have leaks, they are less bulky and actually are a little cheaper per diaper. I'd give them a try before ditching the brand entirely. Make sure you contact Pampers, though, because they will likely give you some coupons and *hopefully* do something with your negative feedback. :)

I contacted pampers and have heard nothing back. I hope everyone else did too. I like how the pampers feel. Their light and soft but this fuzz stuff doesn't fly.
