E&E have been climbing into each others beds so I decided to make the switch. They stayed on the beds (matresses on the floor) and were alseep in about 45 min. Normally it took about 30min so not to bad. I hope it only gets better. I pray they still nap.

We did the switch about a month ago and it wasn't as bad as we thought it was going to be either :) They do tend to play a bit more before naps and bedtime now but they did that in their cribs too and at least we don't have to worry about Jake hurting himself as he was climbing in and out of his crib constantly! We did have to put a gate up in their doorway so they're at least confined to their room but overall it's going well :) I'm glad to hear your switch is going well too! I think 30-45 minutes is pretty typical to get them to settle down so I hope it only gets better from here!!! Good Luck!!!

Well, naptime has not gone very well. Emma is refusing to nap at all. Bedtime tonight, they were asleep within 15 min. I guess overall it has gone a lot better than I expected.

I hope it goes well!! I sat in their rooms with my back to them (let them play for 30 min. or so the went back in the room) and when they got up, I didn't speak to them, I just picked them up and put them back in bed. I did that till they fell asleep. I actually laid down too!

GOOD LUCK!! :hug99: Feeling your pain on vacation!
