Did/do "weird" things make you nauseous (not food related)?

I've been noticing that some non-food related items can trigger my nausea. For example, I had the a/c on in my car, and if it was blowing on my skin, I felt sick...so I had to move all the vents so they weren't "touching" me. Then, last night in the shower, the thought of the warm water on my skin made me feel nausous, so I hurried up and got out. Certain music on the radio will trigger it too...like easy listening stuff and top-40 stuff is fine, but then if something heavy metal or rock comes on, it turns my stomach.

What is up with this? Is this normal? LOL! I'm assuming it's kind of like how different stimulations can make you feel nausea...like being inthe car, constant movement, starring at a computer, etc.

But, this is funny, I am working out at Curves, my nausea subsides the minute I start the workout and then comes back the minute I'm done.

Wow, pregnancy does WEIRD things to our body!

The heat here has been killing me. I cannot take the kids outside unless I am sitting in a pool. A few minutes out in the heat and I am vomiting!

Poor DH, but he makes me gag and vomit too! I tell the poor guy that he smells everyday. Great esteem booster!

    Oh the joys of pregnancy!

heat and driving make me really naseous... especially the trip to my in-laws...and I really don't think it's psychological having to do with my in-laws lol... they really do live out in the boonies and we have to take all these curvy, hilly mountain roads to get there. :bad: other than that it's almost always food, or smell related... like poopy diapers....ugh.

The heat has been my enemy too lately. It doesn't bother me to work out in the air conditioning and sweat, but going out in the 95 degree heat with 1 million % humidity, makes me want to puke too.

Sorry, had to laugh about your comment about DH...mine decided to put baby lotion on his hands last night and the smell was killing me, I lfet him upstairs and went to the basement to watch TV!

The heat is killing me as well! What is funny, is I have to reposition my vents also, because when it blows on me or in my eyes, I get dizzy and sick, LOL How weird is that!?

Last summer I was 8-9 month pregnant and I swear I would sweat after one minute no matter how hot it was. I would take three showers a day. Being pregnant in the summer sucks.

I had that stuff with Andew too. When I went into a grocery store I would get nauseous in the deli aisle. The smell of meat. Yuck.

The same stuff is driving me up the wall!

The vents in the car....what IS that all about!!?? Blech!

DH asking me to rub his hair/back/arm....Blech! Just the asking makes me ill!

My pillow not being fluffed, also not good.

    I hate that nauseous feeling!

Certain noises have been setting me off. There's a pitch when motorcycles rev up that makes me gag, so we've been closing our windows lately. Dumb!

And many smells have been icky - like the smell of our vacuum, my regular shampoo, men's deoderant, the fabric softener I'd been using and liking for years, all kinds of smells.

Nothing has actually made me "sick," but has made me queasy.

The smell of the shoe department in Wal-mart and canned corn both made me so sick I would run!

When I was pregnant w/ my dd I had a pair of birkenstocks that I couldnt even look at w/out becoming nauseous. And w/ the twins nobody in the house could say the words cheese or peanut butter because I would gag.
