ok, it's finally my turn to try CIO. I was so tired of night wakings to feed, I checked with the dr the other day and he said they don't need to eat at night anymore, their weights are both good. So DH and celebrated last night by DTD before we went to bed! Sorry if TMI!

I took a bit of a different approach though, as I didn't want to stay up waiting and listening to the crying. So I turned on the babies white noise machines, shut the babies bedroom doors (they have seperate bedrooms), shut our bedroom door, and turned on our bathroom fan, put the pillow over my head and we went to bed. DS already sttn most nights, but DD has gotten a dreamfeed at around 10pm until last night.
I woke up a few times during the night, and went and checked on the babies - both sleeping, no crying. So I am honestly not sure whether they cried or not as I didn't hear anything last night at all! DS woke up at 6am, and DD didnt wake up until like 645am!! Both woke up pretty happy, now they were hungry for sure, but happy!! So far so good!! Now if I could just train myself to sttn (I woke up at 4am)!!
I will keep you all posted on how night #2 goes tonight!

Whoohoo! That's great news! :yahoo: I'm sure that if there had been any bad crying you would have heard it. Sounds like you're off to a good start. Keep up the good work, babies! (And I hope you can re-learn how to STTN too! :) )
