Did anyone elses child turn into a complete brat over night?

Jack has gone from being really nice, polite , cuddly to being a complete monster. He throws tantrums at the slightest thing, hits me, his sister, says no constantly, wont do as he is told! I thought we had terrible 2's out the way but obviously not. He threw a tantrum in the car yesterday when he thought i was going the wrong way to the supermarket! I had to listen to his screaming for 20 mins untill we got there and he realised it was the right way! He actually has a sore throat from screaming so much. AAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHH its so frustrating. x

 

:wavey: My son is like that. He'll be the sweetest little boy EVER and all then one day he wakes up and it's like he's been replaced by someone else. :huh:

I keep joking (even though it's not funny AT ALL) that turning 2.5 flipped on the attitude/defiant/control switch. Oh my gosh!!

 

Yes! Amazing how fast they can turn on us. Terrible 3's are much worse than terrible 2's.

yup - and I found out it was sleep deprivation - once Ian started getting more sleep he's back to being his (generally) sweet self...

No one warned us about the trying 3s.

 

We're just short of two here, and within the last two weeks, just like you said, it's like someone flipped a switch! J has been having massive, massive tantrums that seem to last FOREVER!!! :wacko: If 3s are worse than this.... I may have to hide during that year!
