Did anybody have a 3D u/s with twins?

We won a 3D u/s package during my last pregnancy and we thought it was a great experience. I was wondering if it is too hard to visualize twins though-I know you have to go a bit earlier (between 25-27 weeks) to make sure you can get to both of them. Has anyone done this and do you have any pics to share? Let me know what week you had it done also. Thank you.

 

[SIZE=18pt]I had one done around 12 weeksish. My doc was fiddling with the machine and I was the test dummy. They don't really look like babies, legs aren't really formed at the stage, but they do have distinguishable head and arms. I've heard though that you want to do it early as you can because they start running out of room in there and it's hard to distinguish one from the other.
My doc. has an u/s that does the 3D so I'm hoping next time I'm in to get one. I'll be 21 weeks then and will be sure to post them!

I had one done at 19 weeks, mostly because I wanted to find out the sex. I am so glad I went when I did though, or I may have never had the opportunity. We got a ton of great pictures, and a DVD.

I did one at 26 weeks. We got great shots of Baby B but almost nothing of Baby A because of her position. And the lady really tried to get shots of her. That was the only bummer. Otherwise it was neat.

 

I have one every week at the Peri's. I would suggest getting one asap though if you are going to get one.. the further you go the harder it is to get good face pictures.

 

My peri did a level II u/s at every visit and also tried the 4D but we could never get very good shots with the 4D -I have one shot of Ava that is ok

 

I've been getting them every week since 21 weeks due to close monitoring for TTTS. It is getting increasely difficult to get good shots of the faces. I will try to post a link to some of mine later today.

 

I tried at 25 weeks and the little buggers wouldn't cooperate.....Jacob had his head to close to the placenta so there wasn't enough fluid around his head to get a good pic and Mekaila wouldn't show her face at all....

I called a couple of places today and they said that recommend no later than 24 weeks but that I try to wait until at least then for the best pics (give the boys some time to fatten up). I scheduled for July 2 so hopefully we can still get good faces in those!!
