Diapers

I always buy the HUGE boxes of Huggies at Sams club.
I saw the generic Members Mark ones were about 15.00 cheaper a case but I dont have any experience with them.
When I first had the babies LUVS gave me a coupon for a free CASE but I ended up getting rid of them because the babies were peeing/poping right through them.
I'd like to try the Members Mark brand but I dont want all that money to go to waste if they dont work out....

 

We've used Members Mark and have had no problems with them. Also we have used the Babies R Us Brand and found them to work well too. We will buy Pampers and Huggies when we can get them for a great deal. I know what you mean though, diapers in general are too expensive to test drive so to speak. If they had Pampers Swaddlers in all sizes, we would have stayed with them, the swaddlers were our favorites

 

we love swaddlers.. not problems with members mark either but here they are just as expensive as the huggies

I tried target this time around too and Ty broke out with a rash from they so they are off the list for now!

 

I voted other.
During the day we do pampers and at night Huggies because they sleep through the night and overall Huggies hold more without leaks. (I know this for a fact because my brothers did this for a science experiment.)

We don't have a costco or sam's club anywhere near here.

 

We received a wide variety of diapers as gifts. So far we've used Pampers Swaddlers and Huggies and both seem fine, though we had to move them up from Newborn to Size 1 when they were just 8 lbs because they were having blowouts/leaks with both brands already!

 

I just love huggies, I can't remember the last time we had a "leak" issue. I've only tried pampers and lovs so can't comment on the others.

 

Good question! I am currently buying the Huggies size 5 box at Sam's.

LOVED Swaddlers. Don't like Pampers Cruisers. Liked Pampers Baby Dry. Pee through Luvs, even during the day!! Have had NO problems w/ Huggies DURING THE DAY.

At night, we have to use Huggies Overnites tho. They work great and I LOVE them!

Let us know how they work out if you try them. And you CAN return them if they leak. Just so you know!!

 

I couldn't vote in your poll because we use pampers cruisers during the day and huggies overnights at night. When the girls were little I tried the Costco brank (Kirkland?) of diapers. I found that the money I saved in diapers was spent in laundy because they leaked a lot for my girls. So now I buy pampers at BJs wholesale when its on sale and use a coupon. I don't have experience with Sams Club brand though so it might be different.

 

We use a mix in the day, but usually store brands or luvs. Luvs worked great for us until now, but DD is starting to get rashes with them, so we're going to stick to store brands from now on, at least for her (BJs mostly, although we got some cases of the Babies'r Us ones that work just as well). We never have leaks, unless we didn't put the diaper right or they need a size up.

At night we use Pampers ultra-absorbent though (found at BJs only). Expensive but changing the sheets every day was getting old! Just don't want to spend that much for day diapers.

 

We the Target brand with no problems. We use another generric overnight b/c they're so thick. Using these generrics saves us tons of $$$. We're happy with our diapering system!

 

We use cloth diapers but when we are out of the house or they are going down for their longest nap of the day, we use Pampers Swaddlers. DS has leaked out of Huggies and regular Pampers routinely, but not out of the cloth diapers.

 

I used pampers cruisers for Sky and she got a yeast infection from them. You could literally see the mesh lining in red on her. It was HORRIBLE. They give you pampers at the hospital and we were using them even though I really dont like them at the hospital and the babies had such a rash! We usually just use Luvs if not we use Huggies (I love them but they are VERY expensive). I have used the babies r us brand and they are good no problems with them.

 

When the twins were little we used pampers swaddlers. Now. we use cloth during the day and Huggies overnights at night.

 

We use Huggies with our DD and will probably continue with our twins. We have found that if you subscribe to Amazon's subscription service you can get Huggies for about a penny more per diaper than you can get them at Sam's Club and they deliver them free to your door at an interval that you specify. You can also have them delivered sooner if you find that you are running out sooner than you expected or defer a shipment if you don't need it. You can also cancel at any time. It works out really well for us as we live 2 hours from the nearest Sam's Club and don't have many options for shopping here.

 

We use the Parent's Choice brand from Walmart in Canada. I don't know if they are the same as in the States. 5 of my kids have used them. The only thing I see as a negative is that they tend to run small. So I've wasted money on the Newborn and the Size 1's before.

 

We used Costco brand for a long time, until I found out Target brand work just as well and are about 1/2 the price.

 

I choose Pampers because I only use the swaddlers while they fit in them. After size 2 with my DS, we found that the Huggies Supreme fit better than pampers.

 

We loved pampers just not the price, huggies were horrible -leaked everywhere- Target brand were great and the price is awesome but DS cannot use them (he is allergic to them) so we are on Luvs now!

 

I used one case of the members mark diapers, and didn't have a problem with them, but it was within the first 2 months, so they really weren't peeing too much yet. I don't have any experience with older/heaver wetting babies with those diapers. I switched to cloth, otherwise I'd have used another box, but I don't need them now.
