So my friend's mother gets me cases of diapers for free every now and then and I am finally running out of them. I use Pampers Baby Dry on the girls at night and generics during the day but for the life of me cannot remember which generics I like! DUH!

I do NOT like Huggies so I dont like generics cut like Huggies like Kirklands. I find I had more leaks and poo-splosions with the Huggies cut.

What generics are more like Pampers? I am having a spaceshot moment apparently!

    Thank you!!

We like Luvs. I don't know if that counts as a generic, we don't have Kirklands here. They're cheaper than Pampers or Huggies.

I think the BJs one, and Target ones... I like both.

I love the Target ones, we wear those during the day here!

I've mainly switched to cloth during the day, but when we go out, I use Target brand here (and I'm a previous Pampers user too)

My MIL gets me the target brand every once in a while, but I can only use them during the day and the boys need to be changed more frequently or we suffer the consequences! I still use Pampers at night because they are the only brand that save me from having to change their sheets every morning! And I get the pampers at a HUGE discount where I work (at a hospital) and thank god for that!! :)

I really like BJs diapers....they are really good for being generic

We use Target brand. They are definitely inexpensive and work well for us. None of the generics I've tried seem like Pampers though.

I get the Walmart brand. So much cheaper and they work better than pampers in my opinion

I was actually thinking about going to target this afternoon because I do remember I liked those in the beginning, they weren't cut around the hips. But now its POURING out so that trip might wait until tomorrow. :D

    Thanks ladies!!

We've been using cloth (Bum Genius) during the day for a month or so now, but before that and during the night, we were using Pampers Swaddlers. A week ago I bought Luvs, although I don't know if they count as generic, but to me that size and cut is very similar to that of Pampers. They work out to be about 10 cents cheaper per diaper than Pampers, and so far we've had no leaks or anything else. My only complaint is that they don't make mixed sizes - eg. Pampers makes a size 2/3, but in Luvs you have to buy size 2's and size 3's. I guess this is only a problem though if you have different sized twins (DD is like a Big Mac, and DS is a Chicken McNugget). :)

I have used Luvs and White Cloud and they seem to be okay--I Like Huggies and Pampers the best though

We have been using luvs lately because they are cheaper than huggies/pampers but I like them better than some of the store brands. We have used store brands, wal-mart I think (they were given to us) and they seemed to work just fine.

I use white cloud from Walmart-they are just as inexpensive as Sams Club/Costco and they don't leak during the night for my boys. (I use them during the day too.)

I can't justify spending double for Pampers or Huggies when store brands work just as well. I do use the extra absorbent Pampers at night to prevent leaks, but I just caved in because I was sick of having to change their bed and clothes every other morning. I use Luvs when I have coupons and they are on sale, but that's it. Honestly we spend less than $50 a month in diapers this way. I'm sure it will go up as they get older, but it's still 40% cheaper than named brands.
