    Hi Everyone,

My son's diapers leak several times a day. We use Pampers (for now until we run out of our one month supply, then we switch to cloth). Has anyone else had this problem? I even tried a Huggies, which came in a sample pack - sure enough, same thing. This does not seem to happen with DD. They are changed often too. I'm a little confounded  . Does anyone have advice on this? TIA!

Point the penis down when changing him! I had to do that with my older boys! otherwise it can get them right in the face! if the diaper isn't on quite tight enough...or it can just leak. What a mess that can be.

    Good luck!

I'm not sure where he's leaking from but if it is from the front, fold the top over and it seems to catch the pee like a pouch. Mine leaked occasionally from the legs or the front. Those crazy boys can aim just about anywhere!

Oh, he leaks out the back.

My sons usually wear a size above what I expect them to wear. I ignore the weights on the side of the package and go with whatever holds the wetness/poop. I wonder if you have to go up a size.

I would suggest going up a size also.

Definitely go up a size and if that doesnt work try using a diaper double. It's like a little maxi pad for babies :)

I second making sure his penis is pointing down and also maybe try going up a size if that doesn't help

You may just want to move him to cloth! That is if your dipes will fit him now.

I read in my Parents magazine that a mom said her boy was wet all up his back and it was because she didn't point his penis down. So try that first.

I would go on and switch him to the cloth now too. It's better for him anyway. :)

Thanks everyone. Pointing him down has worked so far :) .

Yep, point that little squirt gun down! It can hit that elastic waistband and run around to the back. It doesn't seem to matter which direction their pee-pee is pointed in cloth diapers. :)
