Arjun has been waking up at 4 am (he is been sttn for 6 weeks or more now) because he is drenched. Tummy to chin, clothes, sheets, bedding. I am already using a bigger size diaper (size 3) and thought of putting a maxi pad in there! LOL Then I saw a post about Diaper Doublers. Where in the world can I get these?

I don't know where to get the doublers, but we have had good luck with Huggies Overnights. They hold a lot!

We used Huggies Overnights and they worked well for awhile but then for a few days in a row they soaked through. Then we used the diaper doublers along with the overnights and that combo was worked wonders!! I get them at BRU and one out of the 2 grocery stores by me sells them. This is what the packaging looks like. When I went to get them at BRU the first time I did not see them because I overlooked them.

Is he a tummy sleeper? I find when my DS flips onto his tummy, he's more apt to blow out his diapers.

We tried Huggies Overnights & he leaked right through those. The only thing he hasn't blown out EVERY night (still occasionally, but not bad) has been a size up in Pampers Cruisers (so, for us, a size 4). We put the front up a bit higher & tease him for his 'plumber crack', but it seems to help. I dread the day he poops & that comes up the back, but for now, the high front seems to hold the pee ;). We tried various brands, but the Cruisers seem to hold the best for us.

In our circumstance, he's taking in less liquid during the day now & that's seemed to have helped. Hopefully your little guy will outgrow it when he starts taking in more solids? In the meanwhile, I hope you figure something out so you can all get back to a good night's sleep!!!

My twinnies have always leaked out of Huggies. I will try the Pampers baby dry and maybe the diaper doublers.

Diaper doublers are used in cloth diapers. As a cloth diaper mommy I can tell you that before you decide that cloth is too much work or gross try it out! I have an older child that I didn't use cloth on and with th twins I got so tired of watching my money get pooped and peed on and then thrown in the trash I just couldn't deal anymore! I will also say that my babies can sleep through the night from 8 pm to 5:30 or 6:00 am in a cloth pocket style diaper without leaking! I use a BumGenious cloth diaper on them with the regular insert and a diaper doubler and they go all night! My babies are 14 lbs and 16 lbs and the bigger one is a very heavy wetter who would always wet through the pampers and huggies that we used... and we used the supreemes, overnights and swaddlers so not the cheapies! I would say definately try cloth. If you have questions about cloth PM me I LOVE cloth and have found it so empowering not to be throwing my money in the trash!!

I use Pampers baby dry and dipaer doublers and we have had maybe 2 leaks in 7 months. BTW...the leaks were b/c DH put the diapers on that night

Depending on your babies' size, you may want to get a size bigger diaper than they wear during the day...I do that too...more room to absorb.

I am in Florida - I've seen the diaper doublers only at Publix. I'm sure BRUs has them too.

huggies overnites did ok for a week. My DD would leak out of them though, but DS took almost a week. I use the Pampers cruisers. They are full when they wake up but no leaking overnight. I love it. also for boys do you point the penis down when your putting on the pampers?

I use regular huggies(I've found I have to do a size bigger i put them in 4's and they weight 16 lbs) and put two diapers on each of them at night and it works great I have no leaks at all!
    Good Luck!

They sell them at Publix. Light blue and white packaging!! We use them with the Huggies Overnites size 5. Works like a charm.

Thanks everyone, we found them at BRU (30 pack for $2.99) but he is still leaking out of them. So instead of putting them vertical in the diaper, I will try putting them horizontal by the waist band???? Don't know if it will work but it is worth a shot.

i have girls, so no experience with this but i've read a lot of folks make sure that they point the penis DOWN and that helps.

Good luck! I found that huggies overnights and pampers dry were AWFUL for us. Swaddlers and doublers are now doing the trick!
