Any suggestions on diaper brands ladies? I would like to keep the boys in the same brand if possible(so much easier) but if I can't I will start buying 2 diff brands.

Pampers- Love them but once the boys got out of Swaddler sizes and we switched to Baby Dry and Cruisers Cooper would break out. Something they use in the bigger sizes eats his butt up. Didn't use them for over a year and tried to go back to them b/c of some Huggies issues and after about 3 weeks it starting eating him up again. Went back to Huggies.

Huggies- Recently they have changed some dyes or something in their diapers. I have called a few times and they assure me nothing has changed but do send me coupons for free diapers. I know something has changed(and we aren't the ony ones) b/c recently the dye comes off leaving blue marks on their inner thighs and clothes. Annoying but not a bigge until it started breaking Eli out in the same place too :( That was when we tried to go back to the Pampers but they broke Cooper out. Eli's legs got better so since Coop was having issues with the Pampers we gave Huggies another try. Once again about 3 weeks later Eli has started breaking out again around the legs where the elastic is at.

I like Kirkland diapers ok but they are made by Huggies so not sure that will solve my problem? Any other decent brands?

Have you tried Luvs? I like those or the Target brand. White Cloud is pretty good too if you have those available. I've gotten them at Wal-mart.

We haven't tried Luvs yet but I was wondering about them. Do they leak?

Yikes! I loved Luvs when they were small and immobile, but I recently tried them and I don't think they hold up well to my movers. I had shifts and leaks.

I'd try the Kirklands, maybe they'd be better.

Have you considered using cloth diapers? I think that if their skin is that sensitive, I'd rather they not be exposed to any of that stuff they put in disposibles. It might has some sort of long term affect on them.

That what I was going to suggest. Then, no allergy concerns, save money and turn around and sell them later. The initial investment would be a lot of money but it may be worth it in the end. I ended up selling the boys' cloth diapers but kept the inserts and now use them for pads. So, I save money there too and help the environment just a little.

Have you tried Especially for Baby -- Babies R Us/Toys R Us generic brand? Started using them initially because I wanted them both in the same brand. Pampers leaked with one, huggies with the other, Luvs with both. They have worked well for us for over 2 yrs. I have one with excema and very sensitive skin and have had not issues.

    Best of luck!

I'm the opposite...didn't like Luvs when they were little bitty but love them now. I notice between the Luvs, Parent's Choice, Target brand and sam's choice brand, that Luvs seems to fit my slender boys a little better. The other generics are fine but they don't fit well on the boys. That's why I like the Luvs and haven't had problems with leaks since I tried them the first time around the time the boys were 4 months. They've been wearing Luvs for the last 3-4 months now with no problems.

Those who suggested cloth diapers where can I go for a crash course on them? I have NO idea how to use them or where to even start!!!

The boys go to daycare during the day so I would only be able to use them on weekends and evenings.

Steph, I don't use them, but I think you can use a diaper service instead of buying them. Since your duo is already two and you'll be thinking about potty training at some point sooner than later.

We use Luvs and I haven't had a problem with leaks (besides the occasional morning when they have had them on for 12 hours overnight).
