Every since day 1 DD2 had cried during her diaper change, or should I say screamed bloody murder. From the time you lay her down until you pick her up. Then if I pick her up she turns it off instantly. I had it. I could stand that though, but as soon as I lay her back down to change DD3, then she starts up again. Screaming the whole time I change her sister. It drives me crazy. Any ideas. I am always alone with DH's work schedule so that is no help. After I change them I usually let them finish nursing a little bit to make sure they were full and didn't just fall asleep, so I don't really want to get her settled in the swing and even the few times I have put her in the bouncer she still cries, she just wants to be held.

The gist: it's ok to let them cry. If you are busy with one and the other one cries, they're just going to have to wait. I used to put the fussy one next to me on the floor while I changed the other. Or I'd sit between the bouncies so I could touch and talk to whoever was fussing. It's a fact that multiples are going to have more "cry time" because mommy only has 2 hands. Crying won't hurt them. We just have to do our best to make sure their needs are taken care of even if they sometimes have to wait a few minutes. You're babies are so little; just being outside your belly can make them cry!

My boys always used to cry during their diaper changes. They eventually outgrew it. We used to talk to them and try to calm them, eventually they got used to it and stopped. I think it was between 2-3 months.

Our twins hated having their diapers changed in the beginning. Now, at 8 months (well, since about 5 months), they LOVE it. If they are upset now, I take their legs out of their onesies and they are so happy. they think they're getting their diaper changed and they get so happy. Hopefully, they will outgrow it!
