Hello I am not sure if this has been posted recently or not, but I am looking for a big diaper bag that will fit everything the twins will need, plus items for my 2 year old...

    do you have any suggestions?

What worked well for you, and where did you get them and what were the prices if you can remember!

    Thanks so much!!!

I have the Skip Hop Duo Double for all four of our boys. It fits all of their stuff quite nicely with room to spare. Now that they're a little older, I have the regular Skip Hop Duo for short outings since they don't need as much. They're both great! Very durable, easy to clean and tons of storage space.

I admit, I'm a person who likes to travel light and carry the absolute smallest diaper bag I can find. Have you considered just carrying a diaper bag for the wee ones and letting your 2yo carry his own? We bought the 4yo a Thomas the Tank Engine backpack for his 2nd birthday and he's carried his goods since. :good:

    Just a thought. :)

I have a 8 month old and twin 2 1/2 year olds I recently purchased a "Pretty Baby" black bag from Wal-Mart. It was less than $20 I don't remember how much exactly. But it comes with a changing pad. I also have a travel elmo potty seat stuck in there. It holds all my purse items, and I'm one of those people that has everything from a first aid kit to extra small juice bottles. I have extra underwear for the twins and extra pants. I have diapers and wipes for my baby plus it holds two big juice cups, my water bottle, and a baby bottle.

I would just go to the store and look at the bags open them go to the baby section and stuff things in the bags, see how they fit. Just make sure to empty it before the cash register! :p

I bought what I thought was a large stylish diaper bag before the twins were born. After using it a few times, I quickly realized it was big, but not useful big. Since then, I've been using DH's old backpack from college. It is huge! Even with everything I need in it, it has room to spare. For a playdate outing I usually pack 2 extra outfits for each twin, extra shirt for me, 8 diapers, full package of wipes, changing pad, 2 sippy cups, 4 containers of baby food, puffs, 4 bibs, 2 burp cloths, blanket, diaper rash creme, sunblock and 2 sun hats.

For short trips to the store, I now can use the freebie bag from Enfamil I got at the OB's office. Once I had to stop bringing bottles, my load got a lot lighter!

Ditto. I also have both. I got the smaller one when they were born but realized I needed another one that was bigger. The duo double is perfect.

I like to travel lightly as well. So we had two diaper bags:

    1) Land's End diaper bag backpack -- this was/is the bag we keep in the car. It can hold tons of diapers, changes of clothes, every ointment under the sun, etc. This is the bag that stays in the car in case there is a diaper blowout, massive spit ups, etc. They don't always happen and it is nice to be prepared just in case. If we are going to be gone all day long (like last week took a train ride south and spent the day out and about without a car), then we can easily take it with us and carry it on our backs to keep our hands free, which is critical!

    2) Skip Hop Duo -- we had the smaller stroller bag. The straps clip right over the bar of the stroller, which is great with a SBS stroller with limited basket space. We used this bag for everyday types of outings (shopping at Target, a trip to the park, a playdate, etc.). In this bag were things I KNEW I would definitely need on an outing, like a small toy, bibs, a couple diapers and a small pack of wipes, snacks, etc.

My theory, why carry three changes of clothes, just to go inside the mall? Leave it in the car. If you need new clothes for the kids, you can always go out to the parking lot!

I know this might not seem stylish but it is practical and my husband LOVES the idea of a camo color diaper bag  We got our from Cabelas and it is actually supposed to be for hunting, but it had a plastic bag to put wet clothes, plenty of room and pockets and we put our medicine in the little elastic holders that are supposed to be for hunting supplies :D I think it was around $50 and it has a VERY comfortable shoulder strap which is something I didn't have with the diaper bag I got for a shower gift.
