I have been on bed rest since 18 weeks and have been in hospital due to PTL for the last 3 weeks. Hense, no shopping....on online shopping.

I am trying to find a diaper bag for my twins. I keep looking at the Skip Hop Duo Deluxe and the Skip Hop Double Duo, the latter one looks huge. Does anyone have any suggestions ? I really dont want to go over $80. With my sons diaper bag I got a $35 one and had to replace it twice, so I figure I would rather invest in a better one straight off.

    Thanks
    Bel

I bought the Skip Hop Duo Double for our boys and it was a life-saver! It's held up to tons of use and still looks brand new. I can hold so much in it, it's just amazing. The reason I chose it is because of the size. We have four boys, and the three little ones are so close in age that it really worked for us. Now that I don't have to carry so much, it mostly gets used for travel or long afternoons out (where we might stop at the park for lunch or something) around town. Best $80 I've spent, honestly! :)

I'm glad you asked this question, I was wondering about diaper bags myself.

I also wanted to say good job hanging in there... that's a lot of bedrest! I've been on bedrest myself (both hospital and home) since 25 weeks, it gets brutal sometimes. Way to take care of those babies!

Thanks for your replys..still on the fence about which one to choose...

Sunny, I have just looked at your blog, its great. I can totally relate to everything your write...espcially about the GD, I was diagnosed at 27 weeks, it was ok until I was admitted and hospital food sucks, I keep telling myself that its temporary...until I was reminded by the dietitan today that some pregnant people will go on to type 2 later on in life....lovely, thanks for those words of inspiration dietition lady.

Oh no, hospital bedrest with diabetes!! That is my big fear right now. Hospital bedrest was bad enough before I was diagnosed with GD, I don't know how I would navigate their menu with these diet restrictions. You have my deepest respect! I thought my OB said she wouldn't hospitalize me for bedrest after 32 weeks, although I don't know why (I'll ask when it gets closer). Is there any chance you can go home soon?

And yeah, I can't decide on the diaper bags either. I'll have three kiddos under three, so the huge was is appealing. But I like the look and colors of the regular size one better.

I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the big bag -- the double duo. I read tons of reviews on various web sites and people seem to love it. They have free shipping on Amazon, so it's on its way. I'm excited!

    Edited for typo

Let me know what you think when you receive it. The one thing that put me off the bigger one was the color choice, I really want a red one as I have a red stroller, I think the black one will get to hot as we live in the south and the summers get really hot.

The hope is for me to get to 34weeks, I think if I can make it that far then they will let me go at 35 weeks. Good luck with your bedrest !

I will let you know! Unfortunately I won't be able to use it until I'm off bedrest -- which will be when the kiddos come. So much fun new stuff, no ability to play with it. Poor me. I hear you on the colors, though. There were several designs of the regular size bag that I really liked, but the colors are so limited on the big one. I ended up with charcoal, at least it had a bit of accent color. The stripes aren't me, and I liked the black but was hoping for something a little spicier.

You are so close to 34/35 weeks... you must be able to taste freedom already! That's fablous!
