    Hello everyone.

I'm sure this question has been asked but I can't seem to find an answer for my problem.

I have a 2 two year old DD and I am expecting girl/girl twins in Dec. I currently have a fairly large diaper bag for DD. I am one of those moms that OVER prepare for everything lol. So DD's diaper bag is full most of the time. I cant imagine trying to fit everything for twins plus DD in one diaper bag but I dont want to carry two around. The diaper bag we have now is the shoulder strap kind and it kills me to carry it when its full. I was thinking of a backpack style but I'm not sure. So those of you with twins and toddlers....

What type of diaper bag/backpack do you use?

    Does it hold a LOT?

    Is it easy to carry?

    How much was it?

Where did you get it from?

How long have you had it for? (sorry I go through diaper bags like every 9 months)

I really dont want to spend $70 on a diaper bag but if its worth the price I may.

Thanks to anyone who can help! :)

We bought a Skip Hop Duo Double for our three boys. I used it all the time, and still use it for traveling. Now that they're two and three, I've downgraded to a regular Skip Hop Duo. The Duo Double holds a TON of stuff. I could easily fit diapers, wipes, creams, bottles, bibs and a change of clothes for all three of them without so much as a struggle. I could even fit a book or two for my oldest in there on top of everything. Even now, it's ideal for traveling or a quick overnight trip. Yes, it's a little pricey, but to me it was completely worth it. You can also find them on eBay, Craigslist or some of the discount baby sites, like Albee Baby for a little cheaper if you want to look around. I've had it for two years and there isn't so much as a stain, tear, or rip. Both of my Skip Hops are in excellent condition. I wouldn't change my purchase for anything, I'm incredibly happy with them all the way around.

I used a school messenger bag, the kind that is a shoulder bag, with a BIG zipper across the top, a huge opening and lots of pockets. The shoulder strap was big enough to hang on the handle of my stroller, and I fit everything for my twins and 2.5 yr old dd in it. It's much cheaper than a regular big diaper bag. :)

Since my dd is a bit older now I found a skip hop spark on sale at target for $15 and I love it for the twins! It also has a long enough strap to hang on the stroller, and I can fit 2 bottles, baby food for one feeding, 4 diapers, lots of wipes, change of clothes, bibs and a couple toys in it for the kids, plus has a pocket for my wallet, cell phone, day planner...etc.

I have also used the skip hop single which is great for short outings and I have the jujube be prepared bag which is huge, it is kinda combersom but holds alot. I use it when we are going somewhere overnight. Not worth the money unless you really pack a lot to go out so you would get good use out of it. I have the large loom bag in canvas which was my first sons and I loved it but would never get canvas again because it is hard to clean. I have tried cheaper diaper bags but have found that they just break and rip easily

I've had my Skip Hop Double Duo for 18 months and plan on using it in three years when I go back to teaching! It does get heavy when you fill it up, but it attaches to all of my strollers so I am rarely carrying it. I decided on this one b/c I needed something that could hold at least 6 bottles for when we would go to DH's all day triathlons. This can hold 8!! It has grown with the boys and I still love it just as much as the day I first got it. Well worth EVERY penny!

Ditto here on the Skip Hop Double Duo. We have boy/girl twins and a toddler. I can fit everything for the babies (bibs, burp cloths, clothes, toys, bottles, formulas, gas drops, extra toys, pacifiers, brush, diapers, Butt Paste, etc.), as well as toys/items for my toddler AND my personal items (phone, wallet, etc.). Soooooo nice to have everything in one place and only have to grab one bag when we head out. I make sure to restock it every time I get home so when we are ready to go out next time, we know the bag is ready to go. Granted I received mine as a shower gift, but I would definitely spend the money if I had not received it. Very worth it!

I've heard the Skip Hop Duo Double is the way to go. I had several different diaper bags & never found any of them to be big enough when they were really little, so I wish I had tried the Duo Double myself!

We have a Skip Hop Duo Double. I've had it since they were like 2 months old - so almost 18 months, and it's still in great shape. Looks great, nothing has broken or stopped working. I don't carry it on my person a lot, but when I do it's fine - a big padded shoulder strap or two tote handles. It's usually attached to the stroller. It's wide to go on side by side double strollers, but despite what it says it works great on my Graco tandem as well as my SBS. It holds a ton. I think it was $80 something. I ordered it online.

Chiming in with another thumbs up for the Skip Hop Duo Double. :good: This bag is plenty large with room to spare for my stuff too. I don't have a third child to pack for, but it wouldn't be a problem if I did.

For everyday outings (short trips) I just use a simple backpack :)- hands free!! :)
