DH put one of the cribs together....we're nesting

DH emptied and painted the spare bedroom (soon to be nursery) and put the first crib together. It was comical. We pulled the pieces out of hte attic and all the hardware was there in a ziploc, but we couldn't find the instructions. When we first put the crib together 5 years ago, I remember it was really difficult. So this time, without the instructions, we almost called a handyman to do it! But we wanted it put together today, so I sat and watched and gave my opinion aboiut how it would work, and guess what - it took less than 30 minutes! It was easy!

We're borrowing the second crib, so hopefully that one will be as simple.

I still need to wash all the stuff that we're bringing down from the attic and all the new stuff and get it put on the cribs/put away. But this is really the beginning of the nesting....

How exciting! 30 weeks is right around the time we'll have our nursery painted and put together. I can't wait.

 

Me and DH just started getting our nursery right for the twins also. We just got our cribs. I am still waiting on DH to put them together. We also just bought 2 dressers and had our baby shower. We are finually realizing that soon we will have two more babies. Exciting.

 

Sounds like fun to me!! I am not quite ready to start dongi thing, but I have been going through my daughter's old things and deciding what to keep for boys and what is just too girly!!!

I'm going through the same thing.... We jsut got our new washer today and I have been washing clothes all day!!! That and Jay is insistent that both cars be washed inside and out...we are also looking into trading his car, since the car seats don't fit in his sentra!!!
