I'm sorry you’re missing your DH!

Just think! 5 days will go by so fast. Try to plan some fun activities with the babies, friends or family. You won't even notice the time just flying by.

I hope the days go by quickly for you!

 When my DH had to be away from us for a week when the girls were 10 months old, I took video of them every day so DH wouldn't miss anything. I also planned an activity a day- either having some one come over to play with us or going out of the house. This definitely helped the days go by.

GL! It is hard. My DH travels for work so we spend alot of time alone too. Hang in there.

Me too!! He left today and wont be back until Sat (but my sis comes to town on Friday). Ugh... I'm worried about bedtime and the evening fussy period. But i guess we'll survive.

and even though he doesn't do anything during the night wakings, the thought of being alone in the house then is really depressing and making me anxious. YUCK!

I hope your week goes well. And I hope I survive!

It will fly by before you know it. My DH travels overseas on business a few times a year and is gone for weeks at a time. You will be fine. It's great that you have help coming in.

I agree with others - activities that get you out of the house, and tucker the kiddos out will make the time go by much faster. Enjoy the time you have with them all to yourself! Then when he gets back make sure he makes up for his share of the less than fun stuff that he missed - like bottle duty... :)

Is it wrong to agree with you?? Would it make me a bad mommy to want to go somewhere for just a couple of days and not wake up to the sound of the monitor at the crack of dawn? Or take a nap whenever I wanted to in the middle of the afternoon? Or just do something by myself without my appendages? Don't get me wrong... I love my children to death, but I am pretty sure I might like them more if I had a little me time, too. :)

GL girlie, you can do it and you´ll do a fine job. :D Ive just back after a 3-week "holiday" at my parents´ and I might as well have been on my own as I did it all. Now Im back in my own house Im getting a break again. You´ll be fine. Can you call any friends/family in for a few hours as back-up?
