DH flunks first sickness

DH has been great with helping with the twins, much better than I feared when I found out we were having two. This weekend though we all came down with a bad cold and DH has totally dumped us. DH has always been a baby when it comes to being sick - no one else in the history of the world could possibly be as miserable as he is and he must be coddled and waited on. Here I am, not only trying to deal with my own nasty cold, but trying to deal with my first baby illness. Sorry, guy, no sympathy here!!

Anyone else's DP just a total drama queen with sickness?

ETA: Plus I don't know what cold meds I can take with BF so I haven't taken anything and he's been dosing himself with Nyquil and sleeping.

 

Mine is the same! When the babies were 3 weeks old he had a kidney stone and OMG you would have thought someone was stabbing him continuously for 5 days. He took 2 days off work and was totally worthless. He is the same way anytime he is sick also. It drives me batty but it never gets any better.

Sorry you are waiting on 3 and dealing with a cold yourself. Moms always get better first so they can deal with everyone else. Good luck!

 

At mine to the list of babies!! A cold is horrible and yet I have to beg him to take meds so he'll feel better (and stop complaining). It really drives me INSANE. I hope you and all three of your babies get better soon!

 

I hope you all feel better soon! Mine is not too bad when he gets sick but my father is the same way, no one is as sick as he is!

 

:hug: Uugh! So sorry! Mine doesn't get sick very often, but when he does, yep, nobody else could ever have had it as bad as him. However, he also gets over it pretty quickly, so I'm lucky.

 

Oh yes. He's the biggest baby of them all. I hope you all feel better. :hug:

Mine too! He's a worse baby than any of the kids. He goes to bed for the day if he just gets the sniffles. Just proves that women are stronger, which we all knew already. :lol: Hope you all feel better soon!
