DH changed his mind....

We thought we had it all figured out! Our girls name is Yael Amira, that means Prominent Princess. Our son was going to be Benjamin Mitchell. Son of my right hand and Gift from God. I love them both. DH decided he doesn't want Mitchell. I guess it is too plain or something. LOL Any ideas would be great. Oh, if it helps, our last name is Klisit. I did suggest Joseph, his G-pa's name, but he said that no son of his would have the possibility of being called BJ. I dunno, I never realized he could be so picky. :unknw: TIA

Well I knew a BJ so I don't blame him for not wanting his son to be named that. I was just curious why you are giving your daughter a unique sounding name and your son a traditional one?

Yes, I did find that meaning in a baby book. The web site: http://www.thenewparentsguide.com/baby-names-y.htm , also says 'Strength of God' as do some other sites. Regardless, we'll still name her that. As far as the uniqueness of her name, mine is Amorita. I liked Amira and he liked Yael. My DH is Jewish, so we took that into consideration. Keep the ideas coming so I can have a talk with him. We better figure it out soon though! LOL

 

I've only known Yael to be for a woman. I think it's beautiful - it's on my short list for that imaginary girl I'll never have.
