Dh Can Be So Crazy!

I was going over the twin’s routine with DH so he knew how to do everything because I am a bride’s maid in a wedding out of town and he will be by himself with the babies for 3 days. So we talked about their solids and how much to feed them ect. Then I said, “O.K. why don’t you try giving them their baths so you get used to it and I can walk you through what I do. He stopped and looked at me and said, “I was thinking of not bathing them while you were gone. LOL :lol: What! :huh: That’s three days. We both laughed and he finally broke down and bathed one. I am going to be so worried. I just wish we lived near family.

:laughing: My dh has NEVER bathed the girls and didnt bathe Stephen til he was around 2 :blink:

Oh my! :blink: They'll be fine, Daddy won't do it exactly the same as you, but he'll muddle through and be stronger from it. Resist the urge to call him every 5 minutes and enjoy your weekend! :banana:

 

If it did damage to not bath kids for three days, all mine would be severely damaged...

That is so funny :laughing: But I do have to say that my dh and I trade off on doing all the kids bath. So he would be fine in that department. But it's the putting to bed and feeding part I would be worried about. I am sure they will be fine! Have Fun!

DH hasn't bathed my girls either. He is fine playing with them while they are in the tub if I need to step out a minute. But getting them in & out is a problem. I think he is afraid of a slippery little piggy sliding through his hands.

Have fun this weekend. As much as I love my girls, I would really enjoy a couple of days away.

 

When my honey or family have watched them, I've learned to just tell myself that nothing they will do will kill them and try to leave it at that. It wouldn't be the same way I did it but if it gets done and they get Daddy or family time, it's OK.

And kudos to my honey, he's given both of them baths all alone!!! I work one night a week and he bathes them, feeds them, plays and gets them to bed by himself. He's a good daddy. He sends me pictures too while he's doing it too, so cute.
