Desperately need to find a nice robe

Hi everyone. I really want to buy a really nice robe to have once the boys arrive. It'll be nice to have in the hospital and also great to have at home. I'm really particular though and haven't been able to find one that I like.

Here's what I'm hoping to find:
1. lightweight - don't want anything too heavy like terrycloth
2. really soft on the inside (say fleecy?) with a different material outside (cotton or maybe satin)
3. can be purchased online (very important since I'm already finding it hard to get out and about).

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I'm getting desperate!

This robe meets all three of your criteria EXCEPT it is not a different material on the outside.

It really IS super soft fleece and lightweight.

I am no help in the robe department but I do want to caution you....there is a potential to "mess" it up after your birth. There is such a profusion of "fluids" that come out afterwards, for a few weeks that I would worry about it getting ruined....just a word of caution....not trying to be a wet blanket!

 

I got two while i was pregnant. one from walmart...its okay, but my MIL got me one from bath and body works...I LOVE IT. its so soft and comfy. might look online for that???

 

i recommend going with a dark color, since there is a chance it will get messy. but i was way more comfortable in the hospital wearing my robe than doing the two hospital gown dance (one on with opening in back, one with opening in front) when i had dd.
