OK, how is it you feed your baby(ies)? I am assuming that everyone here provides some breastmilk. Oh, and I consider exclusively breastfed to include an occasional bottle every now and then.
    Thanks!

eta: Ok, so I probably worded this poll wrong and probably should have asked for a 'summary' or something of that sort. :( Sorry.

I put exclusively bf. Thats not to say that on those occasions I can't get a full 6 oz. for the night time bottle, I will substitue with formuls but, I only have to do this twice a month. Crap, I should have put BF and FF. Sorry, Jackie.

THis is where we are now - EBF - but they had a nightly bottle of formula for the first couple of months.

I answered exclusively BF, but they did get a little bit of formula here and there (not enough to warrant selecting the "BF/formula fed" option).

I answered "other" because you didn't have an option for BF and EBM. Mine get exclusively breast milk. Breastfed mornings, evenings, weekends. Bottles of EBM during the day while I'm at work.

How about all of the above. I breastfeed, bottle feed EBM that I pump, and formula feed.

I, like others, breastfeed mostly, give an occasional bottle of expressed breastmilk, and give formula (once per week or so?) when desperate to my daughter (son doesn't tolerate it)

    :)

I am really an "other", lol

I bf once a day and give 2 sippies of whole milk. But back in the day they were ebf, meaning all breastmilk. I pumped at work and bf when home. I was lucky to only have to use a little formula for a few days when they were first born. Stopped the pumping at work at 15 months and thats when they got some whole milk.

Exclusively BF here. Elizabeth wants nothing to do with a bottle! She takes a straw sippy now, but I'm too lazy to pump!

We had to supplement every feed with formula the first two weeks (preemies) but they have been exclusively on breast milk since 5 weeks (as in no formula at all) and EBF since 8 weeks b/c they stopped taking bottles.

Mine were 100% breastfed but they're getting some cow's milk now.

I breast feed all day long and then give one formula bottle at night. My dr. still wants me to supplement at least a bottle day until our next visit. So we'll see if that keeps up after the next visit. Now I when I go to work 2-3 days a week I do pump and they may get a combo bottle if I don't have enough ebm frozen up!

I think its a great poll, the confusion makes people type thier responses and I like those more than the poll!!!!

And I love being an "other", feels like home, lol

Exclusively breastfeed! My girls will get maybe 2 bottles of ebm a week and that is just to keep them familiar with the bottle so we dont have the bottle rejection again. And I have just started giving them sippies with water a couple times a week to try and get them familiar with those.
No formula has ever (and hopefully will never) pass through my girls' lips! :yahoo:

I am happy to say I have been EBF for 11 weeks. Can't believe I made it this far! :D

Exclusively bf. But they do eat some solid food now, so I guess not really exclusively. They've never had formula, but have had pumped milk on 3 occasions.

Mine is pretty much all of the above:)
Mine try and nurse sometime...when I force them, (they have nipple confusion in the worse way)they get bottles of pumped bm and formula as well. I am stubborn and keep trying the nursing, I keep pumping because I want my babies to get bm as long as possible (plus for my own selfish reason of being able to eat what I want and not gain my stupid weight back!) Whatever works is my moto! My babies are healthy and eat well and are growing like little weeds so I guess I must be doing something right!
I do cringe everytime I spend $30 for a can of formula when I have the free stuff (just not getting enough as they eat more and I pump less) Booooooooo!

I am not nursing now, but mine were exclusively bf, no ebm, no ff at all. (However, I had had to exclusively bf DS2, who would not touch any sort of artificial nipple for any reason, so I knew I could do it going in!) DS1 would not touch formula, but he would drink ebm from a bottle.
