    Hi there,
We purchased our two cribs new from Walmart about a year ago – they are Graco brand but apparently made by LaJobi. We are noticing that the drop sides are hard to latch and often don’t latch securely. I am VERY concerned about this now that the boys are pulling themselves up on the crib rail. We didn’t notice this sooner as we hardly had to use the drop side until now. I tried to call Graco directly and was essentially brushed off and told to call Lajobi – which I did – I need to call them back with the model details and such. But they also seemed like this was no big deal. I have emailed Walmart now too. I am really irritated that no one is taking this seriously as this could result in serious injury.
Has anyone dealt with something like this? How did you get through to them to get them to fix the problem quickly and effectively?
    Thank you!

I guess I don't completely understand the problem? It seems like you need to be dealing with Lajobi, and you need to call them back with the model number and other information? I'd just do that. It doesn't seem like you've gotten the brushoff yet unless I'm missing something.

We also had Graco cribs from Walmart, and had trouble with the drop down sides. Ours were involved in a recall for that reason, I filled out the form online, and we were mailed a kit to fix it. It made the drop down side stationary.

it seems like your main area of concern is their lack of it. i'm guessing what you really wanted was for them to seem like they care, but with big chain retailers, one doesnt usually get the amount of compassion they want. perhaps you should send the regional office a letter voicing your complaints and perhaps hinting at a small boycott of their stores and or products. there is always a customer complaint department to deal with this sort of thing. hopefully the atleast pretend to care more than walmart or graco.good luck, and remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I had so many problems with Walmart and our cribs (different issue). It seemed like they didn't care at all, and that's what I'm hearing you say, too. I would keep calling the company that made it until you get the answer you want. Very frustrating I'm sure!

Keep calling! Ask for a supervisor.

I would just keep bugging them, asking to speak to a manager or supervisor until you get someone who is in a position to help you!
