    Hi Ladies,

I am 28 weeks 4 days and noticed in the last couple of days that my b/g twins movements have changed. Their movements were very jerky and pronounced and now they are more gliding....smoother movements.

Now common sense tells me that there is not much room left and their movements will change because of it....but I am still worried.

Just had an u/s with my regular OB and my peri this week and the babies were in the strangest presentation yet. Both heads are on either side of my belly button. Baby boy's bum is under my right rib with his legs trailing down my right side toward my hip. Baby girls's bum is low down by my cervix with her legs trailing up along my left side. Is this crazy transverse or what?!!

So given the baby boy's upper position, he seems to be more active and baby girl being low, is squished in with not much room to move. So she seems to be moving less, but is moving.

Can you guys please share with me when you noticed a slowing down or change in movement? Just need to know that this is normal! ;)

    Thanks! -jillian

I'm glad you asked because I've noticed a change in my boys' movement as well recently.

I'd say at 30 weeks.. I was having a hard time feeling one baby, the other was bouncing always.. I even went in for an extra ultrasound just to be safe.. and the doc assured me that they were jst running out of room!

I have felt them less in this last week- so I would guess around 30 weeks too. I too am feeling more things run across my insides than kicks now :p

I have felt more of a rolling across my belly- and sometimes I don't feel it but I can see it, more than kicking at this point.

Yes! The past I'd say 3 days the movement has definately for lack of better word "decreased". But what you are describing sounds exactly like it. Its very hard to distinguish when my babygirl is moving unless I have my hand on my belly and slightly put a little pressure on my stomach.
The boy is higher in my stomach and his positioning makes it easier to feel.

    A lot of rolling, definately!

Thanks everyone, your posts made me relax a little. Even as I type, baby girl is moving/rolling......she is moving and she is in the lower bunk. Baby boy is up high and kicking my right rib and very wiggly.

I was recently found anemic, even though I have been telling my OB that I have felt faint, seen spots and had NO energy in the last few weeks (pre/e ruled out). So now I go on iron pills and hope my energy perks up!

I wonder what I will be freaking out about next week and posting.......wish I could hit the fast forward button and have the babies arrive safely!

I'm 29 weeks and haven't really noticed any significant changes in movement. I still feel a lot of jerky kicks and wiggles. They are always very active.

I noticed a decrease in the frequency of movement around 28 weeks as well. I thought it was due to overcrowding as well but my doctor had me do a nonstresstest just in case. It turned out to be okay for me, but gave me some peace of mind. I'm sure they are probably cramped in there right now.
