DD so cute tonight

[SIZE=12pt]I have been doing some spring and summer shopping for the kids lately. Tonight I pulled out all the clothes to show Katelyn and have her try some of them on. She was so adorable! Everytime I put an outfit on her she would stand in front of the mirror and go, "aw... cute mommy!" She did it for every outfit!! :wub:

It just blows me away that my 26-month-old gets comments and sayings like that!![/SIZE]

I really hope not as I really don't buy them many clothes! She must have picked the phrase up from me when I tell her she looks cute... it was just cracking me up though![/SIZE]

 

So cute and adorable. Its so surprising that they catch the phrases we say so easily.

Nicole you are so lucky that your dd lets you try different outfits. Both my DS and DD hate dress change. Y'day when I took them for shopping, DD never let me come near her to see if the frock length is correct

 

Nicole!! SO CUTE!! But, NO PICS?! It's nutty!! We JUST entered the starting to care what she's wearing. DS doesn't care, but he did want his hair done like Ali's yesterday!! I put it up in a spout (short, but oh well) on his head!! He left his in longer than she did!!

 

OMG, that is precious!!! We do not have a mirror where they can see themselves like that. We need to get one. Makes me want to go shopping now too!!!

 

OMG, that is so adorable. Sofia like clothes too. She always asks me "try on, Mama?". It is so sweet when they say things like that! :wub:

I put a new dress on Katherine. Here is how "their" conversation went:

K: Ohhhhh, I love it, Momma!
M: You look beautiful, Katherine Anne!
K: Thank you, Michael!

OMG Julie that is TOO cute! I love that he called her Katherine Anne... and she thanked him!! Those are the moments we live for!! :wub:

 

LOL, my girls have started doing that, too! They have a full-length mirror on the back of their door (it was already there when we moved in and they get a big kick out of it, so we left it up) and the other day we were trying on some new spring/summer clothes, and they had to go inspect everything in the mirror. Also, Natalie put her bathing suit bottom on her head. :laughing:

And then the other morning we were getting dressed, and I put them in these cute little denim jumper-style dresses and Natalie ran over to the mirror, patted herself on the chest and said, "Dress! So pretty!" (though it came out like "So pee-ee!", LOL). I was cracking up!
