Well, we finally got her glasses. We had only 2 choices since she is so tiny. The "goggle" type glasses that they carried were way too big for her face and there was one other pair that fit her and were cute but the ones we got we had to pay nothing for so...we got them a little big so that she can grow into them. There was one pair smaller and they were a perfect fit but she would have grown out of them real quickly at least that is what the woman who fitted her glasses said. We have a follow up appointment with the Dr. and if the glasses help her eyes improve then she will not need surgery and I will probably look into trying to find something more comfortable for her. She was not so happy today. Which of course makes me feel horrible. There is a strap to help keep them on which makes it impossible to put them on and take them off with out hurting her. I found something else online today so hopefully that will make things better. If I do not use the strap then they fall down her nose. Aghh...hopefully it will get better with a little time. Anyway, She stopped crying long enough today for me to snap some pictures and of course I snapped one of DS in his helmet. One in a helmet and one in glasses. LOL ... I wouldn't have it any other way...I love them to pieces. I just hope DD adjusts to them soon. Thanks for looking http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome...CuA¬ag=1
Your children are adorable!! Emma has the most beautiful eyes and couldn't look cuter in her new glasses. Thanks for sharing pics!!
Your babies are absolutely adorable. I can't believe she wasn't messing with the glasses, that is great. I know the helmet is temporary, and hopefully the glasses will be too. But if not, so what. She looks so stinkin' cute! B)
