Just looking for some new ideas...the babies are starting to seem a bit bored with their current toys/games/daily schedule. Any fun things that your LOs are really enjoying right now??

ETA: The babies are still pretty unstable on their legs, but the Leap Frog activity table will be a big hit when they can both stand on their own! It takes a lot of creativity to hold two babies at the table to play...because you KNOW they BOTH have to be playing at the same time or there is tears from the baby sitting on the floor :)

With the leap frog table, we took off 2 legs, so that it sits at an angle. That way both of my girls can sit and play with it. Otherwise, I have just started to rotate toys, and take a picnic mat to the park with toys. they seem to get excited over the same toys in the different location...

my girls are obsessed with the step from our living room to our dinning room - they crawl over, pull up & stand there giggling & wiggling. they are also fascinated by electrical cords (not good) and socks (kind of weird). but they've been pretty much ignoring anything that is an actual toy. oh, we do have this little car thing that we sit them on & push around the living room - they get a kick out of that. and walks are always a big hit.

I am not sure if weather allows to go out a lot, but I go after noon feeding out for an hour to jog to the parks and then after dinner I take them out again to the city or malls or any store. They are very happy with that, since they are getting bored with toys and I am not buying new toys every week.
I have 3 Leap Frog activity tables (thanks to craigslist) and I just rotate them. I also have pack and play with toys downstairs, few different basket with toys in their room, and when time comes to play I would give them 1 box to dig, then next time another. My guys are crawling and pulling themselves up and standing but not walking yet, so I will let them cruise around hallway and throw some toys out there for them to play.

At that age I would get out in the morning and either let them take their morning nap in the car on occasion or get out quick and be home for naps. We used the activity tables, lots of plastic water bottles, balls, etc..for them to crawl around. If they dont have a large babyproofed area to explore, maybe widen their range?

Mine mostly just crawl all over the house. They like to drag the pots, pans, and plastic dishes out of the cupboard--the towels out of the drawers--the blocks and duplos out of the bigger kids' bins. This is the age where anything that goes into or out of something bigger is endlessly fascinating. We go outside and play in the grass and eat dirt every nice day.

Same here and we still do this! They love getting out and seeing new things. Around that time I was really trying to encourage crawling (not sure if yours do yet or not) so I bought them those cheep balls at Walmart and they liked all the bright colors. They still play with them now. They also still LOVED the Jumperoo at that time and their exersaucers. I love the pp's idea of taking only 2 legs off the activity table! Great IDEA!
