Daycare clothing - At 3 Months, what did/do your kids wear?

My guys are 3 months old, and I'm having the hardest time picking out clothes each night. I have a ton of cute clothes (t-shirts, vests, pants, jeans, overalls, etc.) that they could wear, but then the mommy side of me says that I should dress them in something comfy since they'll be sleeping most of the day. Usually I end up with footed outfits. I think that would be more comfortable for the boys and easier on the daycare workers for changing diapers, etc. And, I keep thinking about their socks falling off all day if they had on pants.

Am I thinking about this too much? [IMG]

    Any suggestions? Shannon

I usually dress them in day clothes like shirts, pants and socks. It's usually warm in the room so i don't really worry about them loosing their socks.

I send them in anything, some days they go in their PJ's, some days I'll send them in their cute outfits, some days I just put them in a onesie and knit pants. I think most baby clothes are made pretty comfy,so I really don't think it matters too much. And I think about it this way, I may send them in something that takes a little more effort to change them, but I PAY these folks to take care of my kids (and quite a bit I might add!) so they will have to deal with all the snaps and lost socks!! Mine don't go to daycare (it's cheaper for me to stay home [IMG]) , but my favorite thing to dress mine in are a onesie and Carter's roomy rolly pants (they're called something like that) They don't have snaps and are just like little baby sweatpants. they're also cheap (about $8 for 2 pair) and the legs don't ride up like other pants because they have cuffs on them. If mine went to daycare this is what I'd dress them in because it's what is easiest for me to deal with at home.

AMEN SISTER! I usually send the girls in anything too. Sometimes I even send them in these really cute jeans w/ NO snaps so they have to take the whole pant off to change diapers. Those are the days that they "have an accident". But when I get the clothes out they aren't wet or dirty. [IMG]
Plus, if my girls didn't wear cute clothes to daycare, they don't go anywhere else to be able to wear them and then they would be wasted.

Anyway, whatever you put your darlings in, they will be cute.

I would say don't worry about the daycare workers. They'll do whatever they need to. I would base your clothes decision on what's best for you. If it's easier to just leave them in their jammies then do that. If one day you have the energy and a desire that particular day to dress them up in one of their "outfits" then do that. I'm sure you have some good days and some crazy days so just go on with the flow of your mood and how the morning is going.

At 3 months I basically kept mine in onesies. If we were going out, a jacket and a lightweight pair of pants. You can buy the child of mine (Carter's) pants in a three pack at Wal-mart for like 9 bucks. I always bought ones that matched the pack of onesies I bought.

footie pajamas every day - i think between the 2 of them, i own every single one made by Carter's!! not just easier for them at daycare, but easier & quicker for me in the morning!
